Best product for documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is the best software for project documentation, you can keep your team updated and host all the project releted documents
What do you dislike about the product?
Integeration of confluence is bit of a dislike, as you can't integrate this software with more applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem confluence solved me is project documentation and now my team is updated with the progress and we can fetch the documents from one place
Great for documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create documentation, parent and child pages. Pages can also be linked to Jira tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't auto-save newly created pages. If you forget to publish the draft and close the tab, everything will be lost. Also, you can not make drafts private and everyone can view the published drafts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation of projects, meeting notes, tracking documentations with links to Jira tasks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You get the best out of it if used along with Jira
A wonderful way to track information, progress and create guides
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use with a HUGE amount of tutorials and tooltips. I could not ask for more
What do you dislike about the product?
A few too many settings are behind a paywall. I would at least like the ability to set privacy levels without paying, but I understand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a wonderful way to write wikipedia style guides for new software as well as track who is working on what.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One important bit- keep your address handy. I get emails for hello.atlassian that allow me to log in, but they all lead to a link saying my account can't be found. Only by navigating to my precise company or personal Russell.atlassian account can i log in. Not sure at all why the other page exists, and it can be confusing.
Best tool to write a good document
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence provide all the RTE (Rich Text Editor) features. But what I like most is its extra features like table of content, tables, graphs, images, videos, anything we can put into the doc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate to say this but I don't like the resize feature of confluence. I can only resize my document in the pre defined grids of confluence, I can not change out of that grids, I wish confluence look into this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use confluence to document project features, also write blogs that helps team to learn new things.
Review for Confluence
What do you like best about the product?
All of the works and presentetions are stored at central locaiton. which makes it really useful tool that allows sharing information to another user easyly. Updating information is also easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little costly, and features are similar to what google files can do for you. Making changes while another person is making changes is not supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create all reports and documentation for new hire training docs, project tracker, and KPIs in confluence. It's a one-stop shop for sharing and keeping track of all information between the cross-functional team.
It's an amazing platform to showcase the technical documentation post wrapping up the deliverables
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface of the platform and how intuitive it is while maintaining all the technical documentation of project. We can store code flows as well and do live changes
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes the clustering is required but no such smart clustering is provided by confluence. Also I dont like the thumbnails of certain areas. They seem outdated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to store the technical documentation of our project. Along with it we use it to store the code flow and algorithms behind each and every pipeline. It is really beneficial while sharing all details with clients
Confluence to collaborate and share information with teams
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface, easy to use and collaborative
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as widespread as some other wiki options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No major problems, just a good platform to share information
Confluence is fine for what it is.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to organize information, training documents, and forms. I used it when training for my new job, and it was a precious resource and was incredibly easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how bare bones it is. While it can house all the information you need, it's straightforward to sort through to get the information you need. The User Experience is very lackluster
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of not having a location to house information in one easy place. Confluence can house everything you need with parent and child pages so that you can easily navigate between related pages.
Confluence is a helpful and easy tool to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anyone can edit pages so there is a lack of guardrails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use confluence as a base for all of our trainings and knowledge.
Great Database Tool for Internal Knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great tool for any company but particularly start-ups that need ways to standardize information sharing. You can easily create shared learning spaces and locations for different teams, policies, and company segments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more robust tools for creating a table of contents and easier ways of sharing what information is sourced where without having to click into it. Additionally a more robust integration with Google Drive for organizing files housed in different locations so they are easy to find in Confluence. Additionally adding system reminders every 6 months to a year to remind users to update the information and make sure it's up to date on certain pages (with notifications that it was last updated x date).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves a lot of organizational problems, creating a one-stop-shop for company information. Easy to share and easy to learn how to use - it's an excellent source for new employees or employees moving to different segments internally.
