Effortless Team Collaboration and Centralized Knowledge

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Confluence is how easily it allows teams to organise, share and collaborate on information in one central place. It’s intuitive, searchable, and makes documentation much more accessible across the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Confluence is a great tool, one thing I find challenging is that it can become cluttered over time if pages aren’t well-maintained. Without clear ownership or structure, information can become outdated or hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving a key organisational challenge: information being stored in different places and handled inconsistently. By centralising documentation, policies, processes, and project updates, it reduces confusion and miscommunication. It provides a single source of truth where teams can easily find what they need, collaborate on pages in real time, and keep content updated.

This benefits us by improving efficiency, reducing duplicated work, and ensuring consistency across teams. It also supports transparency and accountability, as changes are visible and tracked, and content ownership is clear.

Streamlined Documentation with Room for Improvement

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Confluence highly valuable for managing both internal and customer-facing documentation due to its ability to handle the hierarchy of articles within different spaces for various products. I am particularly impressed by the feature that allows easy embedding of Figma files, which is crucial for creating feature documentation ahead of UI development. This integration ensures that we always have the latest designs without needing repetitive updates since any change in Figma is automatically reflected in Confluence. I really appreciate the ability to comment and discuss directly within articles, which facilitates seamless communication. This feature is especially helpful when a new team member wants to modify an article, as they can refer to the discussion history without confusion. Additionally, Confluence was incredibly easy and simple to set up, which made the initial onboarding process smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Confluence lacks the level of customization I desire, particularly in terms of personalizing the knowledge base and homepage. The platform should support custom CSS or HTML to allow for more tailored styles to meet different company or client needs. This lack of flexibility and customizable options in Confluence has been a significant factor for us, leading us to switch one of our products to another documentation tool that offers better customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to manage article hierarchy, embed Figma files, and facilitate discussions within documentation, enhancing collaborative efficiency and maintaining up-to-date content effortlessly.

Streamlined Team Collaboration with Robust Features

  • November 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Confluence for its strong capabilities in facilitating team collaboration. The software offers two modes, one providing edit access and the innovative 'live doc' feature introduced with the new version of Confluence. I find the live access particularly useful as it enables me to see who is making changes in real time, complete with version control and version history. This feature is invaluable in settings like running a retrospective meeting, allowing participants to write simultaneously while I can identify each person’s input through their cursor movements. This visibility helps me understand the personas of team members and craft my responses to questions, avoiding confrontations. The integration of Confluence within the Atlassian family with tools like Jira and Trello, creates a powerful combination that enhances our workflow. Additionally, setting up Confluence with single sign-on (SSO) is seamless, syncing effortlessly with corporate email IDs, making the process as smooth as butter. These elements together underscore Confluence as a robust platform for documentation and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see an improvement in the integration speed of AI with Confluence. If AI could work alongside the way we are writing and enhance the delivery and tone, it could allow teams to understand and plan their activities better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence as a one-stop solution to document epics and stories, capture resource metrics, and plan team activities. It facilitates collaboration with features like live editing and version tracking, enhancing team coordination and efficiency.

The platform's search functionality is particularly impressive, allowing me to effortlessly find comprehensive information on any product or process without the cumbersome process of navigating through complex directories. It's a platform devoid of the need for intense human intervention or any significant learning curve, enabling anyone familiar with its operations to fully utilize its capabilities. Confluence is aligned and does not cause any operation to get stuck, ensuring smooth navigation and efficient access to information. Its ease of setup, straightforward download, and immediate accessibility highlight its user-friendly nature. Confluence stands out as one of the easiest platforms to deploy, and everything about it from the interface to ease of use is perfectly designed. It's undoubtedly my go-to tool for streamlining processes and ensuring that every step of a project is on track and well-informed.

I use Confluence to access comprehensive project information and processes. It acts as a guide, ensuring I can follow procedures accurately. The user interface and search functionality make it easy to obtain and implement the necessary details efficiently.

Confluence

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
i like how easy it is to keep everything in one place for our csm team. we use confluence as a knowledge base, and it makes it simple to organize processes, training materials, and internal documentation without things getting messy. it’s straightforward to update, the search works well enough for quick lookups, and it keeps everyone on the same page without needing extra tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
it can feel a little clunky at times, especially with formatting or trying to move sections around. the editor can be slow, and some features that should be simple take more steps than expected. also, finding older content isn’t always intuitive unless it’s already well-tagged or linked. nothing major...just small frustrations that may add up...solid admining helps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
confluence helps us centralize everything our csm team needs in one place. instead of information being scattered across emails, chats, or old documents, we use it as a single source of truth for processes, training materials, and best practices. it cuts down on repeat questions, makes onboarding smoother, and keeps the team aligned without having to chase down answers.

Powerful and Flexible, But Requires Careful Management

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is very powerful and flexible. It allows us to create and manage a wide range of documentation, both for our internal teams, and for our external client partners. It features helpful and powerful functionality and integrations that enable us to connect documents to one another and other sources to keep things well maintained and accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is so flexible and there are so many features that it really comes down to how you use and maintain it. If not managed well, it can become a burdensome tool that is difficult to navigate and maintain, but again, this comes down to how well you and your team set it up and keep it maintained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is giving us a centralised and connected place for managing all team and project documentation.
