Useful tool but wasn't super user friendly when I used it
What do you like best about the product?
IT was very easy for us to be able to collaborate amongst the various teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt like it wasn't very user friendly and not simple for new people to come on and use the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used this to collaborate on projects between teams. It allowed use to have better communication within the organization and allowed for more visibility into the process.
Excellent document sharing repository with a few bugs
What do you like best about the product?
Documents can be shared with multiple users and edited by team members or can be locked down by restricting space permissions to make sure documents are compliant. The available templates are good, and the ability to create customizable templates is a great feature. The ability to link documents together or jump to different document sections using Anchors is a good feature. The customizable HTML plugins are especially nice to make your pages look almost as good a creatively designed webpage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of a Confluence-supplied spelling and grammar checker is a real problem. This requires a third-party solution such as Grammarly, which does not work when documents have to be edited across teams or spaces. Another problem is that when loading attachments, such as graphics, into a page, they often disappear with an "attachment not found" message even though the attachment is still there. The search engine is also very bad, which requires separate Table of Contents type pages to need to be created so that people can find related documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our Compliance and Governance documentation is in confluence, and the documents are locked down so that they are part of the audit trail during audit reviews. The templates are great for making sure all of our policies and procedures have a consistent look and feel and that all documentation has the required information that the auditors look for during their reviews.
Confluence is a super helpful tool for knowledge and resource searching.
What do you like best about the product?
Whenever I have a question or need around company policy, ROE, or general knowledge I know I can go to Confluence to find it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface makes it hard to keep track of things or find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the need to ask a peer or rely on guessing when faced with uncertainty. I visit Confluence frequently to look something up before taking action.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Super helpful, highly recommend.
Super practical and easy to amend.
What do you like best about the product?
It is pretty intuitive and easy to share with other steakholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific, maybe some more modern design and backgrounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is super transparent, I could have shared status and also minutes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended.
It's a great software where we manage our business related tasks and documents
What do you like best about the product?
Data is arranged in a systematic manner on the basis of timestamps
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't find any loophole yet. However, UI might become more interactive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With confluence, we can save our important data and also save the instructions or documents in a systematic manner
Best interactive word doc
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a complete all in one digital word document. I love the ability to embed lucid charts, tables, and linking sections all in one place. There's a variety of what atlassian calls macros to organize the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know there's many versions and the latest version does not allow nested tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it for requirements gathering, procedures, and issue tracking using visuals.
Confluence is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is the best repository i came across.
All the items are kept in proper manner/ tabular format & can be accessible very easily.
Accessible only to user who granted access.
Create & edit pages using ideas is the main reason for Confluence.

What do you dislike about the product?
Look & feel can be better for confluence.
Swiching between tabs can be more innovative.
Sometimes changes made to pages are lost.
As there is one page many users are working on the same page.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For new ideas or SOP's or Knowledge sharing Confluence is the best application to have which can remotely access by anyone.
Although it is accessible to anyone remotely access should be granted for user.

Great collaboration and documentation tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence lets my team manage all documentation and collaborate effectively with multiple teams to share knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence can do slightly better in terms of bringing next-gen features for more effective collaborations. For example -- design documentation within confluence, easier db schemas etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective documentation
Seamless collaboration
Knowledge sharing

Knowledge sharing
Using confluence for help/documentations
What do you like best about the product?
The clone feature is the best that I like most in confluence. Some other features are also lavish, like drag and drop the table, tagging the team members, and heading the paragraphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am afraid that when multiple users are editing the same document, then my changes should be lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage the documentation and knowledge pages with confluence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like to recommend this to all my friends.
In house wikipedia or workapedia!
What do you like best about the product?
The web page is so beautifully created - Simple colours, easy navigation, smooth collaboration and exchange of information
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has got everything but the only thing that I can suggest is the change of UI. There are platforms in the market with modern and catchy UI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I extensively used confluence when I was a full stack developer. The platform was the only and complete source of information of all the clients expectations, flows, design requirements, etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using confluence if you are planning to create an internal or access driven external knowledge repository
