What do you like best about the product?
It's used very efficiently by my organization to store the documentation and share it efficiently and securely within the org.
What do you dislike about the product?
More wordy, fewer pictures.
I mean it's good but just having pictorial representation makes me find things fast.

Mostly model documentation, weekly shared sprint reviews etc.

I like the ease of use and out-of-the-box features.

To use Single-sign-on, you need a professional license.

When we started a new IT project, we had to share knowledge and document the new product features and requirements.

This product saved our IT project during the pandemic.

Centralized source for ongoing documentation of projects and serves as a great resource for teams onboarding

Navigation can be a little bit tricky and the buildup of a page is very manual
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a high growth team, context and understanding of the team's past projects is prudent. With confluence, we're able to direct all new hires to our onboarding confluence page
Easy to use remote workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward and simple interface for creating, sharing and collborating on shared documents and knowledge tools. Great for having a single source of "truth" for remote teams to reference and work from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Document formatting isn't the most straighforward and the tools seems to be more geared/developed from engineering POV than other types of document creators. But not a terrible issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote teams spread across 5 time zones so having a central source for documentation, planning documents, etc is mission critical. Confluence provides this.

The best thing about confluence is, I can cr create, access and store my all meeting notes, project planning documents, product requirements Include multimedia.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult navigation and hard to understand for new users.

Making all the project necessary documents and help our teams to collaborate.
Plethora of options but complex usage and setup

Online text editor options with multiple possible setups make it even easier than installed products on systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you miss out on possible customizations due to a lack of knowledge or tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentations for all possible teams in organizations. Workspaces for all possible scenarios keeping the whole setup neat and customization per team.
Central access management makes it a breeze to share docs with possible viewers outside organization too.

Confluence for documentation and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to create spaces and work collaboratively with your teammates to complete the design and documentation. Easy to share documentation around. The option to export pages as pdf documents to people who do not have direct access to the page is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting of the documents when people are most used to Microsoft office type of formatting is challenging. It is sometimes difficult to find all the buttons and takes more time to understand because of different icons

If you lack documentation for your environment, it would be the best software to use. Use the cloud-based option, so there is no infrastructure setup required.

The name of the brand and a few of the features.

I use day to day business problems and troubleshooting. I have streamlined my day and tasks with this.

A great one-stop for documentation!
What do you like best about the product?
A central point of storing documentation organized by product, team, task, etc. It is very cool how each document is a living and you can review older versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
We recently upgraded and the loss or change of macros to elements is a bit challenging to navigate. Or maybe it's just an old dog needing to learn new tricks!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the personal dashboard space has helped big time to keeping a running list of assignments and links to frequently used spaces. My productivity has benefited.

If you need a single location for your organization to create, store and retrieve business-critical resources, then Confluenece is your solution.
Good for documentation, poor for saving tabular data

Confluence is nice because it's a place where product documentation can be stored online in a safe, private location for a team to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with tables in confluence is awful. We often save large tables of organized information in confluence documents but you cannot freeze rows, specify column sizes, or copy/paste in any meaningful way. It's painful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses confluence to store product information and document decisions. It's our main hub for final product decisions and general information that all company members should have access to.
