Good for making a Wiki
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to work woth others on projects in a simple and easy way. Our developers use Jira and its connections to that help us track problems even outside the dev. team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of formatting options a problem. While you can share the information that you produce easily, the files themselves need the ability to look better. I would also like to see more integrations available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as an internal knowledgebase. It lets our different users create personal documents when troubleshooting with clients, and then if they find a fix that applies to others, it is easy to share with the entire team.
Best online document management platform for the enterprise!
What do you like best about the product?
Let's get the obvious out of the way, Confluence is a must have for any organization. It is a simple to use enterprise grade document management platform that provides an online organizational structure of libraries of various types of documents, file formats, images, and other content. The great part of the platform is that it provides a collaboration experience above the rest allowing for online edits from multiple collaborators at the same time, the ability to alert that something was said which pertained to or used your name in the context, and supports a web and mobile experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say that I actually have anything negative to say about Confluence. The platform and it's tools just work, and if you are a Jira or other Atlassian tool user it fits right into their ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone at some point in time uses sharepoint as a tool, and you need multiple admins, people to launch portals or teams sites, fight with permissions, and all the fun things that come along with the learning curves and ramp up to use the tool. With Confluence, the training is straight forward and there is little to no learning curve for users. Once you get past learning how to setup permissions, having SMEs in the enterprise to self admin is way easier than all other tools. Confluence has solved for taking back resource time in administering a tool, allowed for teams to be more efficient, and provided an online document and collaboration platform tied to our product management platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great platform to create, store and share business-related functional, and technical documents. We can easily create projects, collaborate with people, and share files across people and teams. it gives a huge collection of projects where one can go and search easily and get an overview of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike is the sublinks of documents and the poor connection of related objects/files. In order to go to a particular project or file, we need to go through a chain of links, which can lead to a lot of time and effort wastage, instead we can actually search and go by name or code of the specific file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is like a local wiki for us at Moodys Internal file sharing arena. Everyone gets a clear update about the relevant projects in past, and ongoing one. We can access BRDs, and FRDs and understand the scope of the project without disturbing the people involved. Self-understanding of various functionalities over a platform is the best solution given by confluence.
Great Knowledge Base Organizer!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's fast to load and doesn't consume much processing power or RAM! I can easily navigate, search, like or comment on the content available. We haven't tried other solutions because we have everything we need!
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for particular information can be a bit hard on Confluence. Using a lot of keywords to finally get to what I wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps in organizing our knowledge base into an easy-to-reach single destination. I'd be lost without it, as I use it daily to give our customers the best experience possible.
Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Confluence is connected to jira and slack. This is also very small, but when you copy and URL and want to link it in a document, you can just highlight the text and control+v to automatically paste.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for font styling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is widely used as a documentation tool at my company. It benefits me because it's easy to search for things and keep pages/notes organized.
Collaboration at its best!
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration is raised to the next level with Confluence. It's so easy to jointly make changes to documents without the need to send multiple copies of the document around. The sheer number of integration with other online tools to provide diagramming and productivity adds so much more value to Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really no reason to use any other productivity tool once you have Confluence. So, no, I can't find anything I don't like with Confluence. This is a solid choice for any organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really does a great job at solving the collaboration and history tracking problem. I don't need to worry about maintaining several copies of a single document, merging different changes together, etc.
Best way to provide flows and processes as a Blog
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can have everything and every department together. You can post, comment, tag, and do everything. You can sum up tested processes and people from other departments can review and/or comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing is that I like everything on this platform, so I do not have anything against it, and I think there's nothing that needs improvements. At least, I have not found anything so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You have everything gathered together. So it is time-consuming. Also, you can add your benefits to other teams with your comments and questions. Business performance is increased, as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to collaborate multiple people on single page at same time (because of synchrony)
Different macro options like chart addition or any form addition in page, makes easier for the end user to get everything at single place.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes texting and formatting becomes quite dependent on macro, so when that macro expires or demolish, it affects all the pages where it has been used.
Permissions within a space can be worked upon, like sometimes user gets stuck between space and a specific page permission. As a result there are chances of anonymous user accessing the content.

Its ability to integrate with Jira service , where it's content work as a knowledge base (wiki) , when user search on some specific word.
Paging structure allows one to easily segregate, which is also very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
It's our one-stop shop for all company information; absolutely everything and anything can be found on Confluence. It does take a lot of setting up, but it's used every single day for announcements, team information, company resources, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to learn, it can be relatively complicated. It's also not the easiest to format. Its integration with other applications appears to be somewhat limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It answers any and all questions I have regarding my company as my organization has taken the time to include and organize everything necessary for its employees. It is so clearly displayed that any employee can find something with ease.

Confluence is easy to use, always available and very powerful

I with that they made it easier to reference fille attachments within a page, you can do it but it isn't intuitive.

I use it for all my documentation needs as it's very collaborative and available.
