  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Confluence is how seamlessly it integrates with Jira. Being an Atlassian product, it is user-friendly and works well with other tools in the ecosystem. I also enjoy the extensive selection of templates available, which really help to streamline the documentation process. Additionally, I value the collaboration features that make it easy for team members to work together on the same resource.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Confluence is its search tool, which I feel could be significantly improved. Additionally, when creating a document from scratch without relying on a template, I find it challenging to establish a custom format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence makes it easier for teams to organize and manage their documentation, streamlining the entire process. It enhances collaboration by enabling team members to update documents in real time, which keeps everyone on the same page.

Centralized Knowledge Hub with Seamless Integration and Accessibility

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is my single source of truth for specs, runbooks, onboarding, and handoffs across Sidekick and BAM, and it’s where I centralize documentation so teams always know where to look. I like that THD-wide SSO makes spaces like the CEX landing page instantly accessible without extra friction. Its tight Jira integration, with JQL embeds and live backlogs on pages, lets me surface real-time status where people actually work. It also functions as a cross-team knowledge hub for OMS/Machine Teaching and CEX, where I contribute and maintain shared pages like Compatibility Rules to keep stakeholders aligned. And I rely on structured templates for documentation, release notes, and change logs, which keeps everything consistent and discoverable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Briefly, Confluence tends to sprawl, which makes search noisy and navigation confusing; permissions and space governance are inconsistent; the editor is brittle with tables, images, and macros; Jira embeds can be flaky; attachments and versions get scattered; moving or renaming pages breaks links; and exports to PDF often lose formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps me replace scattered documentation, siloed knowledge, and weak traceability with a single source of truth for specs, runbooks, onboarding, and handoffs across Sidekick and BAM, so I can find, trust, and reuse work faster. I benefit from SSO that lets me reach spaces like the CEX landing page quickly without extra steps. Its Jira integration lets me embed JQL and live backlogs in pages, keeping status and priorities visible where teams collaborate and reducing context switching. As a cross team knowledge hub for OMS and CEX, it keeps stakeholders aligned on shared references like Compatibility Rules and related processes, which improves decision speed and consistency. Structured documentation patterns and versioned pages make release notes and change logs more consistent and discoverable, improving onboarding and handoffs while preserving change history for audits.

Intuitive Collaboration and Documentation Made Effortless

  • December 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence provides an intuitive experience for creating, organizing, and sharing documentation among teams. Its robust editor, variety of templates, and seamless integration with Jira contribute to efficient and well-structured knowledge management. The platform's features accommodate documentation, meeting notes, project planning, and team collaboration all within a single space. Implementation is generally simple, particularly with the cloud version, and teams that depend on shared documentation and internal knowledge bases tend to use it frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the amount of content increases, navigation and page organization can become cluttered, slightly reducing overall ease of use. While customer support is typically reliable, response times can be slower for users not on an enterprise plan. Additionally, managing advanced permissions and organizing spaces often requires some administrative expertise, which can make implementation more challenging for larger teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence addresses the challenge of fragmented knowledge and documentation across organizations. It offers a unified platform where teams are able to create, store, and collaborate on documents in real time. By consolidating project details, decisions, and processes in a single location and connecting them directly to Jira work items. Confluence enhances transparency, fosters alignment, and supports lasting knowledge retention.

Centralized Collaboration Made Effortless with Confluence

  • December 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Confluence is its ability to centralize documentation, making it straightforward for teams to collaborate within a single platform. It is particularly useful for maintaining up-to-date specifications, decisions, and knowledge, all of which remain easily accessible without the need to search through countless emails or chat conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Confluence is that it can feel slow and cluttered as spaces grow, making pages harder to find and maintain. The editor and formatting can also be inconsistent, and managing permissions or page structure often takes more effort than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of scattered knowledge and undocumented decisions by giving the team a single, shared place for documentation. This benefits me by making information easier to find, reducing repeated questions, and keeping technical specs and processes aligned across the team.

Intuitive, Efficient, and Essential for Document Management

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are several aspects of Confluence that I really appreciate. First, I find it very intuitive to use, which makes working with it enjoyable. I especially like how easy it is to organize and manage large documents using the various tools available within Confluence. This platform allows me to create documents much more quickly. Another feature I value is that Confluence is cloud-based, so I don’t have to worry about constantly saving my work—everything is saved automatically. Additionally, there are numerous widgets, tools, and helpful tips within Confluence that make it simple to share documents with a large number of people. Preparing documents is incredibly straightforward, and I genuinely enjoy using Confluence. Personally, I use it daily for several hours, and it has become an essential part of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, there isn't much to comment on. However, one aspect I dislike is how difficult it is to insert a link. I have to manually add anchor links to connect different pieces of content, which can be quite tedious. So, the need to use anchor links manually is definitely something I find frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Confluence addresses a key challenge for me by making it easy to create content and share it with my teammates. Sharing a link is simple, and it integrates well with other tools. For example, we use Jira for project tracking, and we can directly paste the link to a Confluence document into a Jira ticket. This creates a connected ecosystem, allowing documents to be linked directly to specific tickets. As a result, it becomes much easier for developers to access the relevant documentation and work on their tasks efficiently.
