Confluence ease of tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is aused for uploading the designs, testing plans of all our developments, we can even link the Jira task for the same. This makes it easier to go back and check all the development done for a project for any new joiners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to say as dislike for now, haven't found any of it's features as non desirable for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of all the required documents, this can assist in KT for the business isres and also any new joiners in the development team bringing them upto the track and provide a single point for all the development activities performed till now.
Confluence makes organizational hierarchy a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is excellent at organizing materials for every level of an organization, making files and informational packets easy to access. The site helps organizations of any size stay organized and up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence takes a little while to get used to, and some of its features feel like they don't work as well as they should. Overall, the site is easy to use and navigate once you use it for a little while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps organizations stay organized and have a central hub for employees to access what they need. All files and resources are kept on the site and help solve the problem of not having a set place to find files.
Easy to collaborate and increases team productivity
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very powerful tool used among the different type of teams to share their technical knowledge or their current project related knowledge. We can document any meeting notes, our product requirements or the roadmap for our project.we can have our team calendar where we can update all our project related meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features inside the confluence which makes it very difficult to pick the right set of required ones . When two teammates are working/ editing on same notes there is no auto refresh feature. We have to manually refresh the page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to document a proper roadmap for our product. We are able to document all the technical specifications and required meeting sessions for the project development. We are able to split the work in a efficient manner and assign to team members
Issue Reporting with ease
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence helps with many of our team projects, including bug tracking and communicating with other team members. Viewing project tracking at a glance is terrific and helpful for release dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Confluence is the look of the platform. It looks a bit outdated or lacks newer tabs and mechanics when needing to create tasks and collaborations with various teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of how to collaborate cross-team when issue reporting. We can discuss and track the issue reporting from one platform rather than using multiple platforms to discuss the issues and the progress that has been made with them.
Create professional records easily with Confluence
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is the perfect tool for you if you appreciate having a well-organized system. With access to an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge base, none of your team has to worry about strange or contradictory sources of information appearing anymore. This also makes it much easier to find specific pieces of helpful info without needing help from anyone else, which is powerful when working collaboratively. Another great thing with this app is that everybody in the company uses it, meaning everyone has equal status regarding finding vital details!
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is a bit sluggish in my web browser, which can ruin the user experience. Furthermore, PDF is currently the only export format available - this may limit users who need more variety when exporting data. I would appreciate it if they increased storage capacity and offered cloud-based options. Lastly, up-to-date documentation that explains all features in-depth could provide greater clarity for new and veteran users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While Jira and Confluence provided our team with an effective means of communication and collaboration, there may have been further benefits to be gained if we had chosen a more comprehensive range of software from one source.
Confluence Review
What do you like best about the product?
The ability of the many teams working on our projects to construct runbooks and keep project-specific documentation is confluence's best feature. This is ideal because it allows us to easily access the confluence page for our project if we run into a problem and obtain the necessary information.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are unable to access the page continuously. For instance, if one user addresses access-related difficulties, other users may suddenly lose access. This isn't very pleasant because we have to open a ticket to reaccess the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because we are working on a support project and need runbooks and documentation to refer to when resolving new issues, using confluence has many advantages. When we discover a new ticket, we can quickly navigate to the confluence website, conduct a subject search, and find the necessary page with all the details. The installation instructions for the numerous tools we use daily can also be stored.

The perfect platform to document everything
What do you like best about the product?
As developers, we must document each time we implement a new feature. This is where confluence comes into the picture and using this for quite a while, I can say that it helps us draft a good document for every need like a blog, retrospective, and meeting notes. Also, it's got a draft template for a lot of things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now, from my experience, I've not found any downside as it meets my requirements which gives us an extra idea by giving us ideas through templates and also has a user friendly text editor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said, it helps us document things that we work on in a standard text and UI-friendly way using tables and many other components. Also, we could use extra plugins that help in good documentation. It's also used for sprint retrospectives and has a few pre-built templates for the same. If you are using JIRA products, then it might be a plus point to use Confluence, as it can be linked to the JIRA items and vice-versa to get statuses and much more information related to it.
Excellent for organizing company Information
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has proven to be most helpful for us in its application of being the source of truth for company knowledge. As a remote company we rely on consistent shared data and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find its integration with Jira to not be very user friendly - I would love an easier widget to import sprint data or to reflect the remaining work I have on a project, within Confluence
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving the problem for sharing knowledge, ensuring consistency in our communication and documenting our processes as a team. This proves to be especially helpful when onboarding a new team member.

Confluence doesn't allow free users to publish their pages to the public web.

We needed a way to store and integrate our documentation with Jira and confluence meets that requirement.
