Very Organized
What do you like best about the product?
My team was using confluence to document APIs requests & responses. It's very organized and worked very well for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding a document outline would be very helpful for easier access to specific parts of the document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing documents related to the business for all the team members.
Good for documentation but not for storage. Overall an effective planning and collaborating tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ability to collaborate across teams and share documentation, brainstorm, utilize different templates, and much more. It has a robust suite of collaboration tools and documentation capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that file storage is extremely lacking. Understanding that it is not necessarily a repository, it should still have more of a user-friendly file storage feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to provide a single place for all team members to contribute to documentation as well as offering different templates that can structure meetings and different informational use cases.
Excellent Product for Engineering
What do you like best about the product?
The overall ease of access is the thing I enjoy most about confluence. The ability to put down information quickly and share it with my team as well as them being able to make adjustments or comments in love time is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. I haven't found anything that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows us a space for our engineerign team to keep their information as well as share it easily with others internally.
My go to tool for project documentation.
What do you like best about the product?
Bulletproof, simple and fairly flexible. The range of extensions is great. What if course is the top feature is Jira integration. A totally flawless thing because it's the same company's product.
The platform is capable enough for doing weekly reports and with some wrangling you can do some really great reporting. Especially that Jira integration. Pro tip. Setup a PMO project and include PM report tickets to get risks and issues under control!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that gets me is printing to PDF sometimes doesn't work very well. It will look great on screen. I like to use extensions as a last reality because they can beak when updates happen. There is one plugin that is supposed to print and can't. Been waiting for a solution for months on this one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence centralizes our project and process documentation. Making updates and governance decisions easy. We are more focused on the documentation than searching for the right version of a document.
Cloud Product is Trash, Users Being Forced Off Server (on-prem) Product
What do you like best about the product?
Good platform for creating and maintaining documentation, with a wide selection of 3rd party plugins for additional documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users are being forced off a fully functional Server (on-prem) product and onto their Cloud product which is trash. The Cloud product lacks compatibility with many plugins available for the Server product, has limitations not present in the server product (nested macros), forces the use of the "new" editor, which lacks features present in the old editor, and somehow manages to render pages that look fine in the Server product in a way that just looks wrong (spacing?). This is just a small list of the many annoyances with the Cloud product that also has the distinction of being extremely sluggish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a platform for creating and maintaining documentation that is searchable (barely).
Powerful tool for knowledge distribution
What do you like best about the product?
It is like a business/professional version of wikipedia where you are able to create your own repositories of knowledge that is specialised on your companies needs.
Very user friendly.
Very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many tools and applications for confluence that it can get quite overwhelming knowing when is the best time to use which tool, however, I would much rather have more tools than not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing more functionality in the way we write pages. Confluence has also worked on providing more integrations with other platforms such as Airtable and Fellow which makes usage between the applications very seamless.
Best Product for making a junction, creating documentation and wiki for future use.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about it is the ease of access and easy accessing the proper document whenever required, making it very user-friendly. Overall, it is a great tool with beautiful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike as such, it is just one feature while it using it on web, if we click on a link, the page opens in the same tab rather than opening a new tab, sometimes making us loose time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When working in a team, multiple people work on the same project. While working together, people need multiple references and to prevent multiple people from explaining things to each other as everything takes a lot of time, confluence comes handy to make a junction where everyone can come and go, hence solving the above problem.
Integration of Confluence to Jira is a must have to power Project management with documentation
What do you like best about the product?
It allows an intuitive way to organize pages. The concept of having public and private spaces helps in managing content while helping to organize thoughts of individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
The test editor is patchy and needs more improvement. It's a little difficult to format the spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps capturing and organizing the requirements given by the client. These requirements are further converted into issues in Jira. The integration helps view and access the knowledge in both the applications through internal links.
Best platform for project management
What do you like best about the product?
We manage various admission cum learning programs, and for the same, we use confluence for program and project management purposes. We can create multiple dashboards with project timelines, course of actions, dependencies, required stakeholders etc. It helps us to simply each project and achieve the goals. We can share the same over the intranet and update the dashboards in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The clustering of tasks is sometimes confusing over confluence. Even on the same project page, the dashboard is overloaded with various tasks simultaneously, and for a newbie, it takes time to understand and navigate. The Ui can be more interactive and self-explaining.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence as a collaborative platform to share ethe data of various projects among the team. We use it as a knowledge bas e to exchange and share information. We can update, modify, and add new details to project pages. Keep track of all the activities and confluence is a single point place to all the project-related tasks.
Confluence is very good platform to manage the projects in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence gives you the ability to choose templates for different purposes like Project plans, Brainstorming, etc. It's one of the best places where you can add links from various sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have set templates and it's difficult to edit those templates. Its always a challenge if you want to do something different than the featured or selected template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is mainly solving the issue of collaboration among team members during a project run. Its a very easy platform to work with. It also help in keeping track and allocation of work.
