Team Knowledge Base at a Glace
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to share and record team learnings. This is a place for our team to record how-to and a true knowledge base for our team. It was invaluable to capture knowledge through turnovers and transitions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is not always the prettiest UI. It looks more like a textbook than something enjoyable to looklike. Setting up templates/designs is not as intuitive as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is helping our team capture "tribal knowledge" that is learned by different people over the years. We are able to quickly bookmark and reference the material while on the call with customers.
Good tool for documenting all relevant Business Documents / BRD's for the team !
What do you like best about the product?
Its a good tool to Document all Business Processes / Roadmaps / BRD's & FRD's of the project to share with the team ! Main part is that it is Linked with JIRA, so all JIRA users have to Login to Confluence directly without creating an additional account
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence does not havean option to add Excel files like documents into it. We can just create everything on Word & Publish it with Tables included in them. It would be helpful if we could also create Excel like files on Confluence so that multiple data files can also be stored there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving the problem of Data storage in my company as almost all teams use Confluence to store documents / BRD's / Process flows / Project Roadmaps on it & access it along the product roadmap journey ! Also its a good collaboration tool for multiple teams !
Excellent to record requirements & processes
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great companion to Jira - i can produce detailed requirements, record processes/how to's and link to Jira tickets or search/share content with my team easily. it's really easy to use and is a great single source of information which can be organised according to projects and topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting lists can be annoying but it's not bad enough to affect usability. I really don't have anything negative to say about Confluence, it does everything I need it to do as a data management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one place to record processes, handover notes and detailed requirements that then links back to Jira tickets. All relevant team members can access the information without having to navigate desktop folder systems - it's so easy to share and update content. And users can comment on articles which is great for collaborative work.
Best tool for documentation management
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Confluence is that we can create documents for our team and we can easily access the documents that were created by someone else from other teams in the organization. It also provides templates that we can use easily to build useful documents for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I joined the organization, it was difficult for me to quickly adapt to this tool as I hadn't used it before, and the UI is also somewhat confusing for new members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can also integrate Confluence with Jira to see the issues or else we can add issues of Jira in Confluence to explain the whole scenario in a better way. It helps to maintain all the documentation throughout the organization irrespective of when it was created.

What do you like best about the product?
Types of documents we can create like Functional Specification documents or design documents. Predefined templates to use for workflow addition, field addition etc. Integration with other project management tools such as JIRA, to find relevant people for approval and Epic/Story ID integration to track these documents in JIRA. Very Detailed oriented
What do you dislike about the product?
No Email integration or notifications if the document in confluence is assigned to someone, sometimes face issues with document versioning during draft creation, Also no auto-save feature like in MS docs , and many times, I have lost my work because of that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It acts as a decent knowledge base for all the project-related artifacts. It acts as an excellent tool for collaboration, I can select any line on the entire document and mark my comments and resolve it once done is very helpful for multiple reviews and iterations

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for internal knowledgebase and documentation. Great variety of integrating other tools and applications within confluence. Especially using it with Jira and other native Atlassian products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing can be laggy if the page itself accumulates a lot of content. Some QoL updates would be great. Example: Commenting on URL links or hyperlinked text makes it impossible to click on the text to see the comment as it will redirect you (need to use the see comments on page function). Another one which is quite annoying is clicking a hyperlink or link on a confluence page will redirect that page instead of "open in new tab", even if the URL link is another confluence page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal documentation and knowledge base. Keeping track of updates, changes regarding product and processes. Also, note taking for projects and collaborations with teams.
Great software to track/store information
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence helps me find all the information related to projects, and I will be able to access the pages created for MOM. It is easy to put in necessary comments in the information pages added. It can be used as story updates and dashboard
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike about confluence. However the sort and find options are not that user-friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is best when it comes to the documentation, and organization of the project. It helps in collaborating work with the whole team in a very structured and sophisticated manner. It is a remote-friendly workspace that every organization would like to have.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything about confluence. It is easy and great. The clustering of documents could be improved- could be made more accessible and distinguishable. Otherwise, it is good.

Confluence solves the problem of work collaboration and management. It helps my team to organize the ideas and further structure and document it properly where it is easily accessible to everyone on the team.
Since our organization has Atlassian which has Jira, Confluence, etc. under it, it becomes easy to jump from one to another seamlessly.

Best software for documentation of project.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Confluence is that we can create documents for any project on the web and collaborate easily within the organization. Knowledge can be shared easily with another team in an organization. Anyone who wants to know about any project can quickly go through the Confluence Pages created for any project.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few downsides to Confluence. Sometimes I face problems when formatting the tables I created on the Confluence Page. Confluence can improve the search engine, as it is sometimes difficult to search the document in Confluence.

It is always required to document everything when working on different projects. So Confluence is solving the problem of writing everything about the projects like requirements, implementation, development and release, in one place. Everyone within the team can view and collaborate in it and share knowledge.
Best knowledge base tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about confluence is eyecatching and easy to use interface. Even 12 years old can go through it without being confused. I have used other knowledge bases systems like AURA,OMEGA but confluence tops them all.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I get trouble with is that you may not always get what you've been searching for. This may just be a bad implementation by my company but that's the only issue I have faced.

Confluence is our news and knowledge database which works as a library for our internal process.
