it gets the job done but it's losing to Notion
What do you like best about the product?
It gets the job done, I can write BRDs or PRDs, its not difficult to use and it's easy to integrate and overall my team is happy using it- it gets the job done, not more, not less
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not user-friendly, the UI/UX is archaic, not much innovation is being done on the product and there are a lot of features that are hard to use and it's losing market share to Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It acts as a Knowledge Base, we can share documentation, create documentation, such as API Documentation, Business Requirements Documents, Product Requirements Documents and much more
Great product, steep learning curve and a lot of the useful features are paid third party

It is a powerful tool with a lot of functionalities. The template and guides get you started very quickly.

A lot of the more powerful features and capabilities are developed by a third party and require extra payment. The search function can be better

Information regarding all the developments, products, and operations of the organisation

What do you like best about the product?
A key strength of Confluence for me is the quality of integrations it has got with common applications used by my team. This enables I and my team to use Confluence in conjunction with other tools that we are already using at work like Jira , Google Drive and so on. The integration between Confluence and the aforementioned tools have improved my teams efficiency and productivity levels as far as using Confluence as a knowledge and collaboration space is concerned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence limited time tracking capability is one of its major drawbacks, especially when compared with similar alternatives that we have stumbled upon in the past. The absence of a proper time tracking feature makes it difficult to measure the amount of time we spend as individuals and as a team on specific tasks. This in turn, is the reason why we don't regard Confluence as a full fledged project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is currently using Confluence as a knowledge sharing hub and in an handful of situations, we have used it to track aspects of our teams projects. Using Confluence has simply made it easy for my team to share critical project data and collaborate on project ideation when necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
As a knowledge-based tool, Confluence is one of a kind! It is very simple to use, provides all the information required, and also, helps with taking the correct steps in a workflow that is required for my day-to-day work basis. I consider Confluence to be my guidance and my salvation no matter what the customer inquiries are. With a few keywords and clicks, all the information is found in no time. I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing wrong with Confluence. It is smooth and easy to work with, and it is an extremely well-designed knowledge-based tool. As a Member Experience Associate, I can totally say that Confluence saves lives and it is a blessing in problem-solving!

Confluence is solving everything I want, and it had never disappointed me. All kinds of requests are easily handled, and it improves the workflow by 100%, which makes everything extremely easy.

Clarity and use when finding SOP for troubleshooting vehicle tracking software for my company.

Sometimes not as intuitive as I would have liked.

We have grown confluence to be a great knowledge base that improves our productivity when addressing technical support issues. I can say that our business performance has increased greatly.

It's voluminous and not always easy to find what you're looking for but that could be a function of how an organization is utilizing it and categorizing information

Keeping all employees on the same page and having one place they can all search for information themselves without overwhelming managers with questions first.

nothing really, sometimes the navigating UX is tough for team members - but easily enough solved
