Our Team's Memory Bank That Doesn't Forget Anything

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence works best as a long-term knowledge home rather than just a place to write documents. We use it to store decisions, internal processes, technical notes, and meetings outcomes that need to stay accessible months later. The page hierarchy and linking make it easy to understand Context instead of reading isolated documents. I also appreciate how naturally it fits into day to day collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
For new users page organization can feel confusing at first especially when space grow large. Without clear ownership or structure content can become cluttered. Formatting complex layout sometimes take more clicks than expected compared to simpler editors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence help us avoid scattered documentation across chats, emails and personal notes. It gives the team a shared reference point for how things work, why decisions were made, and where to find updated information. The value was noticeable within the first few weeks, once key pages were in place onboarding become easier and repeat questions dropped significantly.

Centralized Documentation with Smooth Setup and Improvement Areas

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Confluence to archive and read the documentation of projects we're carrying out. It centralizes all the information, allowing everyone to be aware of what is being done and how. I really like how information is organized, making any document traceable through its metadata, title, or content. For example, once I needed to create a driver for Google Chat, and one of my partners had created something similar for Google Drive. I didn’t have to search for all the information about Google integration from scratch. I just needed to look at his file, and I already had an idea of what I needed to do. Also, the initial setup was really easy; I didn't spend more than 15 minutes on it. Confluence is a great files and document host.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the writing process in Confluence could be faster. Creating a block of text for each section sometimes makes creating a file with code or information other than text slow. I wish it were more like Word or Grammarly where you can just write everything straight and easily copy and paste pictures or code lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to archive and read project documentation, centralizing all information so everyone is aware of what's happening.

What do you dislike about the product?
Loading time sometimes gets too slow. Integrate better with design documents, flowcharts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence keeps all documents in one place, maintains history, and provides shareable links.

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it has integration with Jira, making it easier to document our development process, easy to share, tag, versioning documents, the templates are really good to do not have to start something from zero, and customize it according to your needs, is great for internal and on boarding communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes that we didn't figure it out yet, is how to share document to external people, people outside the organization, with just the necessary permissions to just view and edit some part of a document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Begin the source of truth, align our different teams to achieve a common goal.

Centralized Knowledge Base with Seamless Collaboration and Powerful Jira Integration

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers a powerful, wiki-style knowledge base that centralizes team information, making it both easily searchable and accessible. Its real-time collaboration features, such as comments, @mentions, and templates, help keep everyone on the same page, minimizing confusion caused by outdated documents and enhancing productivity for both technical and non-technical teams. The true strength of this tool is in its ability to serve as a single source of truth for documentation, project planning, and brainstorming, particularly thanks to its seamless Jira integration and flexible customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many users are frustrated with Confluence because of its sluggish performance and the challenging learning curve it presents. The editing and formatting tools often feel awkward to use, and the platform can easily turn into a disorganized, outdated repository when page management is lacking. This makes it difficult to locate information or ensure content stays relevant. Additionally, users frequently encounter problems with search functionality and access controls, even though Confluence is closely integrated with Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product tackles the issue of decentralized and unstructured information in organizations by offering a centralized workspace. It enables users to create, share, and collaborate on content, helping teams stay organized and work together more efficiently.

User-Friendly Pages and Effortless Formatting

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The pages are user-friendly and simple to format, making the overall experience straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The export as Word feature is disappointing because it occasionally exports the page in HTML view instead of the expected format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The collaboration page is quite appealing because it allows the team to work together on a single document. This saves time, as we no longer need to create five separate documents and then merge them afterward.

The Ultimate Tool for Team Knowledge Sharing

  • December 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
is the best tool to document all the IT changes and create a knowledge base to share with all of our team
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Attlassian could improve the experience to navigate in all documentation that our teams could create...but with the AI function we can found any knowledge uploaded in our instance. That's so awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we don't have any problems, but if we would have it, the attlassian team could aboard it.

Vital for Company Documentation with Built-In Screen and Video Recording

  • December 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Confluence for keeping documents private while allowing automatic sharing within my organization and groups. I appreciate the inbuilt feature for recording a video or screen, which means I don't need a third-party tool to first record and then upload. It's really handy for client feature review and for the QA team when tagging bugs or creating video documentation. I also find the initial setup very easy; as soon as I log into our system, I get access to Confluence automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as common as Google Docs or Microsoft Teams. It needs some more enhancement from UI/UX to be easily usable all over the world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to create, manage, and share documents within our organization. It keeps data private while allowing automatic sharing within teams. Its built-in video and screen recording feature eliminates the need for third-party tools.
