great for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the comment section and the ability to see past versions of a document. It's also great to be able to tag users so they are notified of a post.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if they highlighted the changes made from previous versions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem confluence solves is having a centralized living document that encourages collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool if you are in product or a BA, it allows everyone to be able to collaborate and view

What do you dislike about the product?
I've found it difficult to control the indentation and line breaks exactly the way i want it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized place to store and access documentation.
Version control of documentation.
Version control of documentation.
Easy to use. Easy to organize. Easy to collaborate!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate across departments to get a campaign in order using wikis and shared calendars.
What do you dislike about the product?
The actual look and feel of it is very bland. It could use a visual update to look more modern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one place to place all the information needed by various departments, where everyone can collaborate and stay informed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would have been nice to do have a formal training of it to make sure I had the necessary skills to use it as best I can, so make sure to get that during implementation. Also, Shared Calendars are key to optimize workflow.
Wikipedia for your company
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and easy to follow. The site structure/navigation makes it simple to find what you're looking for. I like the ability to tag users directly in comments, or the content. Easy to see who last made changes. I like the comment functionality as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the landing page when you first go to a space. Maybe this is customizable and I just don't know about it. Just seems like there could be something more, or maybe something more important as I just never find myself doing anything useful when I first navigate to a space. Also, I never use the "Save for later"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to create "living documents" that are collaborative throughout the team/company. Also organize these documents, which spaces help with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is a really nice tool, especially if you're using other tools in the Atlassian suite. It's a great way to collaborate and organize ideas/documents amongst teams.
Great tool for organizing notes
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great place to store all necessary information about projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly confusing for new users to get a hold of the interface at first. It definitely takes a little bit of ramp up to understand where all the tools are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, communication, consistency
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a useful tool if you need a place to store central information.
Great for Organization and a "One-Stop" Resource Center
What do you like best about the product?
My department, as well as other departments in the company, can find valuable information regarding certain processes through Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting of spreadsheets is not always "fitted".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How certain processes work, information about SLA and a Guide on how to complete a process from start to finish.
A good tool for corporate wiki
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can have all the information directly at your fingertips, and it's very easy to navigate as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Atlassian can be a little aggressive with their marketing e-mails -- even though I'm using multiple tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool to store all of our information across departments. It's a handy resource when people need to see the processes of other departments.
Top Product Management and Collaboration Tool - Intregration with Other Atlassian Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I like that openness of the site and the ability for anyone to edit pages (wiki style). I also like how user friendly the tool is to non-IT folks and the integration with other Atlassian systems like Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a bit more configuration options for creating / editing content. It's also unclear as to how tools like this fit into our broader corporate collaboration strategy with other tools, notably Microsoft SharePoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track and communicate project charter, status, and issues/risk (integrated with Jira).
Good repository/knowledge base solution
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to add pages using a variety of templates
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a somewhat high learning curve--but there are tons of tutorials available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Confluence as a knowledge base, primarily how-to and blog articles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared to do some self-directed learning; it isn't terribly intuitive
Confluence is a great resource to train the entire company
What do you like best about the product?
I like confluence for the creation of every process the company has. If someone is out of the office one day and a teammate needs help, they can look to confluence to find all the answers. Having confluence in place allows training and ramp up time to come way down. The faster we are able to ramp our employees the more efficient and effective we become.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting everyone to buy in and fully adopt confluence as the centralized location for pretty much all of our companies material has not been the easiest. Just like the technology we are selling we cannot expect everyone to be 100% bought in and adopt to using it right from day one. It is a process and I am confident the same will happen with confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of cross departmental communication and organization. A lot of our companies processes and strategies are developed based on the success of other groups. Having confluence with all the resources and answers on how we do things is a huge help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A lot of people see confluence as a similar product to google drive but it is much more intuitive . Confluence is much more organized and user friendly.
