Confluence is a great tool for collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
the ability to collaborate on documentation and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence provides my company with the ability to collaborate worldwide and get pertinent information quickly and effectively betweens teams, not only those that are in different locations, but teams within the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a powerful tool, but can be made to fit your specific needs, so don't be afraid of the power or think it's too much. It's very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The Frontend and functionalities in the frontend are awesome and having the possibility to have version for your documentation and being able to go back to a history of a file is a fantastic feature for a documentation software.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the update process gets a bit hard and goes a little bit out of its way sometimes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
our doumentation problem has been totally solved after installing and having Confluence on permise.

Spot on, analytics is very good, scheduling is perfect

Can't remove articles that are not in my interests to share

Great Service for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
We were having issues with collaborating with multiple remote employees, and confluence has been a godsend. It's great to have all of our collaborative content in one place. I particularly love that I can give feedback on my phone while on my morning commute.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little expensive and confusing at first, but after getting familiar with the environment I no longer have these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As stated above, we were having issues collaborating with multiple remote employees, and confluence has helped us ensure that our whole team is on the same page. This software has helped remove the confusion of "What is the most current document/version?" and "Did you already ask _____ about ____?".
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend that everyone at least try a trial of the application, in order to see if it's for you. It's completely free and simple to set up -- you have nothing to lose!
Extremely Useful
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about confluence is that I'm able to add any type of content to a page and customize the layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem I've had with Confluence is the interface. It wasn't as user-friendly as it could have been. Recently however, Atlassian updated the UI and it's way easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been really useful to keep track of all documents & info related to a project in one place, and being able to share that with a team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you develop software for web or desktop and use bitbucket, JIRA, confluence is the best way to keep track of all planning info.

I like the interface which allows easy collaboration between team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! I like it this way. Convenient and simple.

All the process documentation is being done on confluence. This is giving us a convenient and efficient manner of being on the same page, literally!

Confluence is a very robust tool. There are many useful integrations and abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is not very mobile and on the go friendly. It also very hard to search.

It is a large repository of information - everyone uses it and it holds history well.
Help Docs that really help!
What do you like best about the product?
Can create detailed step-by-step guides even if you are not a pro web-designer but have an idea how should look to be understood by new users.
Use not only text and bullets lists, but embed screenshots and video-guides for engaging "how to" stories.
Can easily link to an email and share with a user so that he can go further and find more options, as I can sequence articles.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it is not a true website and there is no an option to call support for more details (or I did not find it so far).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep up to date articles about our products and "how to" guides so that our customers can easily found answers. There is not need to write long explanations every time you get a question, just share a link to an article. Also, it saves time (during a call) if a customer is not computer savvy and prefers to follow instructions, which he/she can look at.
