Good Tool for Cross Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The most important element is its connectivity with Jira, so I don’t have to jump between multiple tools plus it makes it super simple to share all the notes with the larger team on a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a bit messy over time. If the team is not super organized, it can lead to lot of pages and spaces. It can start getting a bit difficult to navigate to the desired space and page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence primarily for Knowledge Base management. For IT Documentation, I used Jira as it serves the purpose plus help in tracking the task. I dont like making multiple copies of the same information and routing the team to multiple directions as the team can easily get distracted.

An essential tool for team collaboration and knowledge sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has become a central hub for team’s documentation and collaboration. I love how easy it is to structure and organize content into spaces and pages, making everything from onboarding guides to technical specifications accessible. The real-time editing and integration with Jira streamline our workflow and reduce context switching.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Confluence is powerful, it can feel a bit heavy for new users. The editor sometimes behaves unpredictably, especially with complex tables or nested macros. Permission management across spaces also needs better granularity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps our engineering and product teams centralize knowledge, document workflows, and manage project-related content. It reduces dependency on scattered communication by serving as a single source of truth. This improves onboarding for new members, enhances team collaboration, and helps us track documentation changes efficiently. The integration with Jira also keeps our development lifecycle connected and visible.
A collaboration platform with excellent Jira integration
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence offers a smooth and intuitive interface that makes documentation and collaboration easy for teams of any size. It integrates seamlessly with other Atlassian products like Jira, which streamlines task tracking and reporting. The platform is packed with features like templates, version history, and real-time editing, which we use daily. It was easy to get up and running with, and the documentation provided made the initial setup straightforward. We also appreciate that their customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve needed assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
For all its strengths, Confluence can feel slightly rigid when it comes to design customization or creating complex layouts without plugins. While the core features are solid, adding advanced functionality often requires third-party apps. Occasionally, permissions can get tricky to manage in larger spaces. Also, performance can lag a bit with very large or heavily edited pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps centralize documentation and improve collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. Instead of scattered documents and emails, everything is now structured and easily accessible in one place. This has increased transparency, reduced miscommunication, and saved a lot of time in onboarding, knowledge transfer, and project tracking.
It solves the challenge of disorganized or siloed knowledge by providing a shared space where teams can document processes, share updates, and track progress. It improves team alignment, supports asynchronous collaboration across departments, and helps maintain a living knowledge base that scales with the company.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Confluence is how it helps keep all our team’s information in one place. It’s easy to create and share documents, and everyone can work on the same page at the same time. I also like how it connects with Jira, so we can link our tasks directly to the documents we’re working on. The templates are helpful for things like meeting notes or project plans, and the version history lets us go back and see who changed what. Overall, it makes working together and staying organized much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Confluence is that it can be hard to navigate, especially when there are a lot of pages and spaces. Sometimes it’s difficult to find the exact page looking for unless you remember the title or where it’s located. The formatting options also feel limited compared to other tools like Notion or Google Docs, which offer more flexibility in design and layout. Managing permissions can get confusing too, especially when you have many users and need to control who can see or edit specific pages. Lastly, it can be a bit slow at times, especially when loading large pages or when many people are using it at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps solve the problem of scattered information and poor team communication by giving everyone a central place to store and access important documents. Before using Confluence, it was easy for things like meeting notes, project plans, and technical documentation to get lost in emails or different folders. Now, everything is organized in one place, and anyone on the team can find what they need quickly. It also makes collaboration easier because multiple people can edit and comment on pages in real time. This has saved me time, improved team coordination, and made it easier to keep track of updates and decisions.
