Confluence easy for work
What do you like best about the product?
Very organized and user-friendly. Anyone from admin to developer can use it easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can seem complex at first. It seemed daunting at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a go to stop for all of our business needs from HR to troubleshooting with our product.
Confluence: Comprehensive and Effective; Not Navigationally Convenient
What do you like best about the product?
Single source for internal document sharing and development. Permission and access levels worked well for internal and external use. It allowed us to remove the persistent issue of different versions of document floating around, even to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The different layers, categories, and sub folders throughout the tool were immensely helpful in indexing and organizing -- Though users who interacted with the entire platform and all information uploaded navigated the platform easily. However, it was not intuitive or time efficient for the "occasional" users to go in a find what they were looking for without assistance or direction from "constant" users. In the end, "occasional" users barely utilized the platform, instead relying on the "constant" users to navigate it for them on a case by case basis (not ideal).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've solved internal & external document sharing and collaborative use of a single source of information. Timestamps and tracking throughout different aspects of the platform was also very helpful -- It gave use a real edge in tracking and retroactively verifying plan or scope changes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to train your staff on the indexing and organization system!
Great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool to create content and the ability to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first was a bit tricky to learn all of the features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration / visibility
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for creating creating custom content to share and collaborate on. We also use JIRA
Confluence keeps me sane.
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence equips our team with tools to improve communication and efficiency.
I love using meeting notes to document important conversations & set next steps. It's very helpful being able to look back on a previous conversation to see if any important decisions were made.
I used Confluence to create an "internal knowledge database" for my team. It has saved all of us time-- instead of bothering each other with questions, we can each search in Confluenc for the answer.
Confluence is my project management tool. I use it to create project briefs, set timelines, assign tasks & due dates to teammates, etc.
Overall, I'd recommend Confluence to anyone. It's a robust organization/communication tool that's extremely user-friendly without sacrificing visual appeal.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were even more visual element options. I also wish Confluence integrated more with Slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence saves us time & money by eliminating redundant communication. Using Confluence to document frequently asked questions, meetings, decisions, processes, etc., we've saved time explaining the same thing over & over (or asking the same question repeatedly).
Now that my team is equipped with our internal knowledge base, they spend less time scouting the internet / asking me for help with their questions. They now spend more time on the phone with clients, generating revenueZ

If you like being organized & getting your team on the same page, do it! Read the onboarding docs so you can make the most of your account.
Simple interface & easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It has a very simple user interface; everything is clean and neat. It is very user friendly, and it's so easy to use. I never got a tutorial on how to use Confluence, but was able to easily figure out how to use it all by myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be fair, I don't have anything to compare it to. From my experience of Confluence so far, I really like it. No complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I added a functionality where validation of certain changes to the documentation section are made. Whenever extra features are added, we have to write technical specifications explaining what the changes are, what it affects, and how the program works with the changes. The technical specifications are written in Confluence, and in there we can search for similar issues. It is a great way to search for changes made in programs, why they were made, and how everything works.
I've really like Confluence because of the simple, clean interface and how easy it is to navigate the things I need. It is also very easy to use.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use. You really don't need to be taught how to use it.
Confluence is LIFE
What do you like best about the product?
I use confluence to create some sanity for JIRA led projects. Without some middle ground project updates teams would be lost. I use it to update teams, project status and link all epics for the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not super user friendly and a pretty steep curve to learn all the ins and outs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
leadership syncs, project updates
One could do better

Nothing, you could get the same result with an OpenSource product
What do you dislike about the product?
The portal is very chaotics and need a lot of hardware resources.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it. It really works well for quick, light documenting in a central place that everyone on the team can access, view and/or modify. It is a nice tool to have.
Well organized, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I use confluence on a daily basis to brush up on tasks and update procedures as needed. I've never had to hunt for a help page or FAQ.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally no downside. Everything is just how you'd expect it to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I deal with credit card disputes and th different brands have varying methods of interaction. Confluence is a great way to keep specific steps and requirements up to date and easy to access.
Confluence review
What do you like best about the product?
Once everything is set up it is very user friendly especially when it comes to creating documents and sharing them with team members without having to create a .doc file and emailing it to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating templates it is very cumbersome to export the contents into a PDF format. It is possible to export a document with just 2 clicks but then you lose the visibility of the customer template formatting (header/footer)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating/capturing meeting minutes, and having a central repository for team members to add to this document.
