Good for learning about various company policies.

Layout is quite plain and not extremely user friendly.l

Excellent wiki, OnDemand can be slow at times
What do you like best about the product?
Editing tools are excellent, the best WYSIWYG wiki I've used. Page types and templates are handy, as are the preformatted content snippets (macros).
What do you dislike about the product?
OnDemand can be quite slow at times especially if your wiki is sporadic in use and it's been less busy.
Navigation can also be challenging. It's tree-based, but I feel like different navigation models could be helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence to document meetings, to collaborate on draft documents in progress, and to document important info i.e. about our products, development etc. We've now got a much more organised collection of important material than we previously had.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It's an easy piece of software to recommend.

What do you like best about the product?
Single stop shop for all the needs of maintaining any kind of information be it project plans, architecture diagrams or maintaining team calendar. Easy to use and provide option to grant access to the users if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Look and feel of confluence can be more interesting. Currently it is plain vanilla, I would love to have more customizable options to make UI more interesting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using confluence for maintain enterprise level data - be it project plans, retrospective notes, MOM's, upcoming activities etc.

We can create pages and save them based on groups

Once removed. Hard to recover and move around

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great way to be able to have an internal wiki of sorts at work. It's a great collaboration tool, and make it easy to create and organize shareable information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish I had more flexibility within the system. There's a limit to how much styling you can do, and sometimes (especially with tables) I'd just want more options for styles.

Having shareable information within the company in one place. It definitely makes it easy to jointly share information.

Absolutely - easy to use collaboration tool.

It's a part of the jira platform. All teams can maintain the technical documents. Markdown support.

Searching for documents is not easy, using some macros/plugins.

I find navigation to be difficult -- the search function is not great and it's hard to access your favorite pages quickly.

We are able to share valuable procedural information while keeping it up to date for everyone all the time.
