  • July 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence integrates very well with Jira, making it easy to link documentation with specific tasks or issues. I especially like how we can create detailed meeting notes, product requirement pages, and internal wikis in one place. The collaborative editing feature allows multiple team members to contribute in real-time, which is a big productivity booster. It’s clean, organized, and helps reduce reliance on scattered documents or emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can sometimes feel a bit clunky, especially when managing large spaces or pages with complex formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us centralize all our documentation — from project plans and technical specs to meeting notes and internal guides in one easily accessible place. Before Confluence, documentation was scattered across multiple tools and folders, making it hard to find and keep updated. Now, everything is organized, searchable, and collaborative

Solid for Team Collaboration, but Has Room for Improvement

  • July 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Confluence is its strong integration with other Atlassian tools like Jira, which makes it easy to link documentation with tasks or project tracking. The collaborative editing features are also very helpful — multiple team members can contribute to a page in real-time, and version history ensures changes can be tracked and reversed if needed. It’s a solid platform for maintaining centralized documentation across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence can feel slow and clunky at times, especially with large pages or when editing content with multiple elements. The editor isn't always intuitive — formatting can be inconsistent, and simple tasks like aligning images or adjusting tables sometimes take more effort than they should. Permissions management can also get confusing when dealing with multiple spaces and teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence primarily for IT documentation and as a central knowledge base for our team. It helps us keep technical procedures, SOPs, and troubleshooting steps organized and accessible to everyone. Having a single source of truth reduces miscommunication, saves time during onboarding, and allows our team to quickly reference critical information without relying on scattered files or emails.

It's especially useful for maintaining continuity — even if team members change or are unavailable, their documented knowledge remains available to others.
