What do you like best about the product?
Nice library / collaboration tool, you can have all your docs in one place, you can have a bookmark like design and multi-leveled docs design.
Easy to navigate and use the search.
like any other dc tools, you need to maintain the infos init.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes typing and dealing with tabs and nested macros or zones are annoying to deal with specially if it is a large document
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to access documentation from anywhere, and using a single technology between branches.
Confluence Review
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence allows our team members to create their own pages to share information across the company and allows collaboration for members to update as needed. The fact that it is integrated with JIRA is a big plus as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a bit of a learning curve for someone who has never used a similar tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have benefited using Confluence greatly to improve communication and centralized documentation on projects.

The ability to take tribal knowledge and disseminate it

Difficult to age out infrequently accessed articles

I love the JIRA integration with Confluence, and it is extremely user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Confluence - sometimes it loads slowly but that's a performance related issue that doesn't affect me too often

It makes things super easy to track, whether it is a deployment plan or knowledge base article

I like the way it is integrated with all the company content and the plugins for integration

What I do not like is it is not intuitive enough for a new person to understand the user interface.

resource collaboration was made easy like the research documents, requirement documents etc.., all at one place

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to store documentation in one central location for the entire organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes regarding Confluence. I know it also comes with the territory, but this tool is definitely more geared toward technical teams. It takes a lot of coaxing to get non-technical teams to utilize it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have visibility onto your project as well as having the ability to see others has been incredibly helpful.

I like that you can customize it to fit your needs with minimal technical ability - easy to search and share information with other teams
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very easy for information to go stale; you must be diligent about keeping information up to date otherwise it is hard to maintain as the source of truth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information across teams is the main goal - benefits are being able to keep track of all relevant information in one place instead of in spreadsheets and local files

It's a powerful tool. A great way to store and share information and processes across a department or organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's such a powerful tool that it often feels like you might not be using it to the best of it's ability. Can take a minute to figure out.

Connecting our departments and organizations better. Have all of our process knowledge in one place is great.

It's a great product that has a ton of capabilities. Can seem confusing at the start but gets better with time.
More organized then Docs
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to grant access to certain employee levels. Could keep docs department specific so that users couldn't see things that were not pertinent to their job. Also having documents all in one centralized system made it easy to manage.

If the person who was organizing it didn't know what they were doing,

We kept all of our internal documents and training on confluence for reference.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really good for having a central lied hub for all internal documents.
Works well but not intuitive or visually appealing

Provides a centralized platform for document sharing and has robust functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not intuitive to navigate and visually unappealing and outdated looking. Doesn't work the same across all browsers.
