Great for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to collaborate with coworkers and keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options - colors, fonts, table features, etc.

Increased collaboration

Easy to create a lot of detailed interconnected documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way that pages are uniquely identified makes it impossible for two pages to have the same title. This forces me to have very long page titles, or break up content into more spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the extension that lets you dig into the underlying HTML. You will go crazy hitting roadblocks and fixing inexplicable page mistakes otherwise.
Great tool for Specs and Wiki
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of having collaborative pages, roles and permissions. I like the modules / tools you can use like using HTML in the pages

There is nothing I dislike about this product.

I used it mostly for Specs / Wiki to keep information shared in the team

The ability to track updates and alert team members of changes made

The layout is very similar to sharepoint, which manyd of our users think is "outdated". My current team does not use confluence and I wish we did.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in an angile environment and confluence allows the various teams and trains to share results on projects without having ro send seperate emails, conference calls, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your organization is comfortable with the organization and layout of sharepoint, and isnt ready to go to Google docs, try confluence.

What do you like best about the product?
Single place for all document sharing is pretty good

On the slower side for performance, some pages take a lot of time to load

Central place to share project plans, doc etc
The UI isn't pretty but it works well

It's simple and relatively intuitive to use.

Even though they recently updated the UI, it's still not exciting to interact with.

We're primarily using confluence for tracking product requests. Half my company is based in Portugal so it's hugely beneficial for an international company like ours.

Confluence is simple to use and helpful!
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence offers an easy to use way to train and access manuals. It really makes it simple to find things once you've got down the hang of it. There are a ton of features that can make life a lot easier if you use them--but even just as a digital work manual, this is a useful thing to have access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little overwhelming to navigate at first. I wonder how ti could be stream lined a little more, but I'm not sure what specifically I could suggest to facilitate that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows for uniform training across the board. Using an internal systems that is complex is tricky here... this is a great helpful program. There is SO much that we do in different ways and on different teams. When there is overlap or questions, and we need a fast answer Confluence allows us to do that without having to bother someone in a different area or on a different team. It has cut down on bothering people thus helping with productivity for sure!

Overall this is a great tool for communication across areas in any business! I am pleased to have access to it!
