Confluence is used at my company to better help explain different tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is easy to navigate and editable. I also like how it is similar to google docs and you can easily see who edits different things and you can format it however you like.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you need plug ins to get the best usage of confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving problems that involve getting communication across to employees in different departments.
Confluence is a great tool to store project findings, if you can get the rest of your team to use it
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is easy to access from anywhere. I can get to confluence no matter where I am at the time, or from what device I have with me. I love its integration with Jira, as we use that for project ticketing. I love how configurable it is, so that you can really make a document clean and easy to read, with build in navigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is one of those tools that only works when everyone in your team or organization decide to actually use it. You can put all the documentation in the world up on it, make it as easy as you want to search and find what you need, but if you cannot get your team mates to sign up and actually log in to use it, it doesn't end up helping anyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After running A/B tests, or research spikes, I find that Confluence is a great place to store the data so that we can look back at it down the road.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are struggling for a place to gather team documentation, HR files, or reports that you want to make sure anyone can find and read later, you should give Confluence a try. Get as many people onboard as possible, make sure that it becomes part of their process. If you don't have full buy in from everyone, the tools is much less useful overall. But when everyone works together on it, its a great tool for collaborative documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share and organize information between many teams is great. I like the organizational-tree structure of pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a large gap in the ability to report on information, contributions and usage. I do not like that I cannot track who on the team is contributing to Confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing and storing internal information can often be a problem in business. Confluence allows us to share such information between teams, allowing us to collaborate in effective ways.

I like the integration with JIRA and other Atlassian tools.

Publishing public vs. private documentation is a weird hassle.

Great and easy to use

It's easy to use and convenient for group projects
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes get glitches and the software can be hard to set up without having errors. . I think they need to work out the kinks so that getting it going with everyone involved is a bit easier.

We are able to more easily collaborate on projects that involve many people
Great for customizing training content but has limitations

Include page features, redirecting content to other relevant pages within a space

outdated information that lingers forever. Lack of more layout templates. TOC feature is awful

Distributing Training and new information and making it available to all employees. I created a 1 stop page for all new hires to access with links to relevant pages
Beautifully designed collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to share your idea with the ability to add graphs, images, and videos. It makes telling your story a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally new posts can get lost and it can be hard to find what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major benefits include the ability to showcase projects, share information, and simply collaborate. Our team has been able to streamline information to the rest of the company who are all over the world.

Confluence is the best repository of useful information and reference that helps newbies (new employees) and old ones to check into time and again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truth is, I haven't encountered something to dislike about it. I have been exploring every aspect of it though and so far, so good!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Briefing and education newbies on policies, rules and regulations, etc. is very accessible and easy compared to having them done face to face. With Confluence, you can direct them on particular sections that they need to review or focus on easily. Benefits for this are: it maximizes time for both parties, you get to be more productive, accessibility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to be more organized with your information, schedule, agenda, etc., Confluence is a big help for your organization!
Great documentation tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's great for knowledge sharing and meeting notes taking.
It can link to JIRA tickets and put actions into individuals. There are some amazing templates and search is very powerful. Handling external users and internal users permissions are very easy. The mobile app is great and easy to use. I'm finding myself spending more and more time on documenting meeting notes, plan of actions and other strategy thinking.

What do you dislike about the product?
The tasks and actions are very basic. the new redesign is a bit confusing to use.
The users' permission management location is very hard to find. sometimes the performance of the site is very slow and clunky. The table will get really messy when exporting the documentation to Word or PDF and they still haven't fixed it.I got way too many emails notifications as Admin, I was getting emails on everything, every small changes, even a typo.

documentation and knowledge sharing. and following up actions and progress tracking.
It's also very good for shaping charts by integrating with the kanban board.It offers great Agile templates, custom workflows and kanban board all in one.

it's fully integrated with JIRA and offers a great interface for doing documentation. Every one now likes doing documentation even the developers are forming the habits to write more often. Thanks for confluenc.e

This is good for keeping your knowledge base in one place for all your projects. It has a highly configurable permissions scheme which helps admins.
