Ease of use by all staff members across the company

doesnt support Excel snf Powerpoint imports natively

it is best used for an information resource center in one spot

sometimes i find it challenging to search for pages - you need exact wording most of the time

we are solving the knowledge sharing challenge by having the topics easily searched and updated here for everyone to reference

I LOVE the product. The way you can store entire projects worth of documentation is amazing

The file storage solution isn't great, though I understand that's not what Confluence is for.

Across several teams, we've created a central repository for documentation so that anybody can see our policies and standards.
Flexible solution, sometimes hard to find things

Confluence has powerful search capabilities that allow our company to build a good knowledge base
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is so unstructured, we sometimes end up with 4-5 resource areas with similar names that contain similar information. Governance of information is hard

Confluence lets you keep a repository of information that you can create however you like

It is very easy to use and has a good UI that any newbie would be able to get their hands on without much difficulty

The Adding filters option (while creating a table) has so many options that it gets confusing

Our company has made the best use of confluence by creating pages with detailed information for every process, and categorizing them as sub pages under a main page; making it very easy for new employees to read through and understand

It is easy to design on the similar lines of HTML 5 along with the versioning available there as a fallback

At times it is not reflecting the changes what was made

Confluence is okay.
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great tool for managing use cases. It really fosters collaboration by allowing our team to create their use cases with questions embedded and then the customer can respond to those questions as well as create their own. It is also great because it’s very easy to tag individuals and assign them to something.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be more friendly, but it is not terrible.

Collaboration on use cases for everyone working on the software development project.
