What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Confluence for being a single point for all docs, which really simplifies document management for me. I like the search functionality; it makes finding information easy and fast. The draw.io integration is great too, as it makes creating architecture diagrams straightforward. Also, the initial setup of Confluence was very easy, which was a pleasant surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the AI-based search in Confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence as a single point for all docs, making it easier to manage and search them.

Robust Document Management with Stellar Integration

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easy Confluence is to use. I find it very helpful that it is closely linked with JIRA and other Atlassian products. I like using Rovo AI as it really helps write Confluence docs, especially for summarizing and reading large documents quickly. The safe and secure file sharing capabilities within the organization give me peace of mind. I also enjoy the detailed insights like views, clicks, unique viewers, and graphs that Confluence provides. The version history feature is another helpful aspect, as it allows us to roll back or see version changes side by side. Overall, Confluence being a secure, ad-free product within the ecosystem is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rovo AI can be improved. We can have better models or maybe the option to choose models based on coding, research etc. We can have something to create images or flowcharts easily making least errors. The editor can be made more user-friendly. Like I told, we can have the option to add diagrams, flowcharts etc, generate them properly using data and prompts. Also few basic options like point style, or some font editing options are quite hidden and we need to click on the options to expand and find. The bar can be expanded and more options can be provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps me access old documents, share manuals securely, and collaborate. It's linked with JIRA, which is helpful. Detailed insights, version history, and Rovo AI make it efficient for document management and understanding project issues.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the templating feature, as it makes writing documents both quick and easy. Additionally, the permission options are thoughtfully designed and feel reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like other Atlassian products, this application becomes expensive quite quickly, making it less ideal for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence as our central knowledge hub, allowing everyone on the team to access and contribute to important company documents and guidelines.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Confluence primarily for creating and maintaining documentation and a centralized knowledge base. It helps me document technical design, processes, and team guidelines while collaborating with others through comments, review, version history, and shared pages. I like most about Confluence is how easy it makes creating, organizing, and collaborating on documentation. The editor is very intuitive and supports rich content like tables, code blocks, diagrams, and embeds, which is very helpful in technical documentation. Real-time collaboration, comments, and version history make teamwork seamless. Also, you can integrate it with multiple tools like JIRA, which helps in project management and documentation. Initial setup is fairly easy, with creating spaces, pages, and inviting team members being straightforward, allowing us to start quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the UI and UX could be improved. Also, theming and ease of editing could be better. Notion has better support in these aspects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to solve scattered documentation issues by centralizing our knowledge base. It makes creating, organizing, and collaboration easy with features like intuitive editing, real-time collaboration, and integration with tools like JIRA.

Comprehensive Documentation and Helpful Templates

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
i like the ability to document everything from start to finish. all the pages we have in confluence are references to other teams and are resources. i like that it offers templates to use since it can be daunting starting a new page from scratch
What do you dislike about the product?
i dislike that sometimes the documentation can be outdated very easily and that sometimes it is hard to search and find exactly the page or document i was looking for. it can also be hard to find the edits that were made to the pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving the problem of having a centralized place for documentation across the organization. This benefits me because it can be a source of truth and a place to share and capture knowledge

Documentation over Confluence

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One place for team knowledge – It’s great at turning scattered docs, meeting notes, and decisions into a single, searchable source of truth.

Collaboration that feels natural – Inline comments, mentions, and page history make it easy for multiple people to contribute without stepping on each other.

Flexible structure – You can start with simple pages and grow into a well-organized space hierarchy as your team scales.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can lag – Large pages, lots of macros, or big spaces can feel slow to load or edit, especially at scale.

Content sprawl – Without strong governance, spaces quickly turn into cluttered archives of outdated pages that are hard to trust.

Editing experience quirks – The editor is powerful, but it can feel inconsistent (cursor jumps, formatting surprises, macro weirdness).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can answer questions once instead of repeatedly, by pointing to a living document.

I spend less time searching or reconstructing decisions from chat logs.

I get clearer signals on what’s current vs. outdated (when teams maintain pages well).

Collaboration feels more durable—work doesn’t disappear after a meeting ends.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Confluence for maintaining detailed documentation of applications and detailed product requirement descriptions and product plans. It streamlines product planning and serves as a single source of truth for requirements and documentation. I find the UI fantastic. The integration with JIRA is something I like very much. The initial setup was fairly simple, as we just imported all our Word documents into Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the page load takes time, so that's kind of annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence to maintain detailed documentation and product plans. It streamlines product planning and acts as a single source of truth for requirements and documentation.

Effortlessly Enhances Collaboration, Needs UI Improvement

  • December 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Confluence for its accessibility and collaborative features, which are great for collaborating on documentation. The real-time coediting feature is fantastic as it allows teams to work on pages simultaneously with live updates, and you can see visible cursors to track changes in real-time. This is very helpful for getting both asynchronous and real-time feedback. I also appreciate the inline comments and mentions, which allow for direct discussions on the page and notify specific users for their input. Additionally, Confluence's integration with other tools like Jira, Slack, and Google Drive helps streamline workflows. The whiteboard feature is another highlight, allowing me to brainstorm with sticky notes and diagrams and easily convert ideas into final document pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI can be made more intuitive and user friendly. And second thing is the search feature can be made better. The search feature is not up to the mark. Because, like, we have thousands of documents in our directory and all, but searching some keywords through those directory, Confluence doesn't work as good. So the search feature needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves documentation problems and is great for collaboration. It's ideal for teams to work on technical documents together, make changes, and publish versions collectively.

Centralized Team Collaboration Made Easy with Seamless Jira Integration

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence works well as a central place for team documentation, making it easy to create, organize, and share information. The page structure and links help keep content easy to navigate, and features like comments, mentions, and version history support team collaboration.

Its integration with Jira is especially helpful, as it connects documentation to ongoing work and reduces the need to switch between tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
As content grows, it can be difficult to keep pages well organized without clear internal guidelines. Search can be inconsistent, especially in large workspaces with outdated or duplicate content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps solve the problem of scattered documentation by giving teams a single place to store processes, project updates, and shared knowledge. This improves alignment across teams, speeds up onboarding, and reduces time spent looking for information. By connecting documentation to workflows, especially through Jira, Confluence helps teams stay informed, work more efficiently, and maintain consistency as teams grow or change.

Empowers Team Collaboration and Seamless Note-Taking

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a software that we use mainly for deciding the policies of the company. This software also enables us to work together as a team and take important notes from the meeting that is being conducted for each and every employee of the company. It works like an digital notebook where everyone can give their inputs and write important notes and learning from the group discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is a very smart tool and at the same time it is complex for new users. It has range of business management tools and operation handling systems. One of the main challenge while working with this software was that whenever I tried searching for old files and folders it always got messy and took a lot of time and this is something on which they need to work on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the major business benefit that we have got after installing Confluence in our Organisation is that most of our employees are now able to search for right documents and data whenever they want rather than asking for details from other teams again and again. This process has not only saved us a lot of time and resource but also benefited us in monetary terms
