What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes team collaboration and documentation seamless. Its integration with Jira is incredibly helpful for project tracking, and the rich editing features make it easy to create detailed pages, meeting notes, and internal wikis. The search function is also powerful, making it simple to find past content. It's a great tool for centralizing information and keeping everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the interface can feel cluttered, especially for new users. Page organization and navigation require a learning curve, and permissions management can be a bit confusing. Also, performance slows down when handling large documents with many embedded elements or macros.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the problem of scattered documentation and poor knowledge sharing within teams. By providing a centralized platform for creating, organizing, and accessing project information, meeting notes, and internal guides, it ensures that everyone stays aligned and informed. This has significantly improved our team’s productivity, reduced the need for repeated explanations, and made onboarding new team members much faster and easier.

The ability to collaboratively edit pages and leave inline comments improves team communication and keeps documentation living and relevant.

Also, the editor, while improved over time, still lacks the polish and performance of some modern alternatives. Pricing can also become a concern for growing teams or startups.
