Perfect for documentation and cross-team alignment

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to organize team documentation and share knowledge in one place. I like how you can create pages quickly, link them together and collaborate in real-time. The integration with Jira makes it even better for tracking project details.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting can sometimes get tricky, especially when copy-pasting from other tools. The search feature also feels a bit slow when you have a lot of pages. Sometimes loading larger pages with images and tables takes longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence keeps all our project notes, documentations and meeting summaries in one shared space. Before Confluence, we used scattered Google docs - now everyone knows where to find the latest version of everything. It's improved transparency and reduced back and forth communication between teams

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes organizing and sharing documentation within the team straightforward. I appreciate the hierarchical structure of pages, which keeps project information and meeting notes neatly arranged. The integration with Jira is a significant advantage, as it allows technical documentation to be directly linked to project tasks. Additionally, the platform supports collaborative editing, maintains a version history, and offers templates that streamline the creation of standard documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the page editor can be sluggish, particularly when handling large documents or when several people are editing simultaneously. The permission system may also be somewhat confusing for newcomers, especially when it comes to managing access across different spaces. Improving the intuitiveness of the search function and increasing loading speed would enhance the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has made it much easier for us to keep our documentation, project notes, and internal processes organized in a single location. Previously, information was spread out across emails, chats, and shared drives, which made it difficult to locate the most up-to-date versions. With Confluence, everyone can work together on the same page, monitor changes, and connect related Jira tickets for greater transparency. This has enhanced communication between departments and significantly streamlined the onboarding process for new team members.

Didn't back up from the old version to cloud based confluence and we lost our data.

What do you like best about the product?
All our project documentation and meeting notes are now stored in a single location, making it much easier to stay organized. We no longer have to search through countless Slack threads or email chains, as this has become our main hub for keeping everyone on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably an option to auto-save/auto-publish in normal docs which is currently only available with live docs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The documentation serves as the go-to resource for all teammates whenever they need a resolution. It also supports advanced integrations that aren't available in other workspace management platforms.

Sometimes the editor can be a bit slow or laggy, especially with large pages or heavy formatting. It can also take some time for new users to understand the structure and permissions system. Additionally, some customization options (like layouts or templates) could be more flexible.

Confluence helps centralize all project documentation and team knowledge in one accessible place. It solves the problem of scattered information across different tools or chats by creating a single source of truth for everyone. Its easy to use with great AI tools, and I can share this data within the company and integrate it with my Slack account

Its not for smaller companies, the price of the suite can be high

It is easy to use, you can pretty much build a knowledgeable base for any topic and share it with your team. It is easy to keep track of when the articles have been updated.

Nothing in particular, I think it is a great way for sharing knowledge across the organisation you work.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Confluence is how easy it is to use and set up. The interface is clean, so creating and organizing pages feels effortless. it offers a good number of useful features and integrates smoothly with tools like Jira and Slack, which keeps everything connected. I use it often it document processes and share updates, and the support and resource available makes the experience even better. Overall, It's simple yet powerful tool for team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Confluence can feel a bit slow when loading large pages or attachments. The search features could also be more accurate, It sometimes takes extra effort to find older documents. Apart from that, the permission settings can get little confusing when managing access for multiple teams. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall ease and usefulness of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has solved the problem of scattered and inconsistent documentation within our team. It provides a single, organized space where everyone can create, update, and access information easily. This has reduced dependency on emails and chat threads for sharing updates. It’s also improved collaboration, multiple people can work on the same page and track changes in real time. Also the great feature of Jira integration is very useful as i can link any ticket with its related documentation on confluence. Overall, it helps me save time, stay aligned with the team, and maintain clear, up to date project documentation.
