What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is the explore section where one can practice on a particular topic that is too industry-specific.

there is no such specific thing that i dislike but sometimes i feel that i spoke or pronounced a word correct but still it does not understand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great Tool to Supercharge Your ESL students' Practice Time

  • May 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ELSA Speak provides my students with immediate feedback during practice time. No more waiting until the next lesson for feedback. Students know right away if they are pronouncing a word correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
ELSA is accurate about 97% of the time. ELSA measures 5 areas everytime a student practices: Pronunciation, Word Stress, Fluency, Intonation and Listening. It is impossible to "switch off" any of these elements and have ELSA measure just one area. I would love it if I could have students turn off some of these areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ELSA makes my lesson time with students more productive as I can focus on challenge areas identified by ELSA and avoid spending time on areas wher students are already proficient.

Eye-catching App

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The leaderboard, the graphics and the purchasable trainings. But first of all, the ELSA-level evaluation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The insufficient level of some feedbacks. Some non-native speakers have a lot of difficulties to understand how to correctly form some sounds with their mouths
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ELSA Speak is useful beacuse It helps me to recognize some strange sounds and intonations that are unfamiliar for my native way to speak. On another side, I have discovered how my native language works, through the IPA trancription%
