Ansible Automation Rocks My World!!
What do you like best about the product?
AAP has been introduced into our org and has been amazing, it has helped streamlined our windows workflows and helped automate lots of minut tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still fairly new and some things need tweaking, will give it more time to mature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping with server drift, patch management, server builds and code releases.
Awesome product

Easy to use. Very user friendly and new features being added all the time.

I really haven't come across anything I don't like.

Biggest things we use AAP for is OS patching, server builds and decoms.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation that ansible allows our organization to perform is outstanding! It provides us piece of mind that certain configurations are getting pushed to our Linux nodes without interaction. It gives us more time to focus on the things that require our attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to select one thing I don't like about ansible, it's the time it takes to configure an automation script to properly run without issue. It would be nice if AI could be integrated into (nano, vi, and vim) , so while you're developing the script AI is checking for syntax errors that can be corrected right then and there. Otherwise it's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Free's up human resources (i.e.) engineers to focus on matters that are pressing, while knowing that they simple/small things are taken care of in background.
Better than Tower and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it does not need any prior VM experience to run and use
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve and it is significantly different than Ansible Tower

Ansible Automation platform solves the problem of provisioning cloud infrastructure and keeping it patched.
Good automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Nice comprehensive manager to run Ansible Automation. Really much improved and needed items for Tower.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little clunky with organization. Sometimes hard to find things and have to jump around many screens. Hoping new AI capabilities will lower troubleshooting and finding jobs.

Automates our software updates and patching of existing software.
Simplifies automation
What do you like best about the product?
It's flexibility. I've been able to solve many problems across different stacks, technologies etc. at scale using Ansible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The logging is not the best. It could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to scale and deploy applications, updates, configuration changes etc with reliability and very little human intervention.

AAP reduces configuration drift drastically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deployment documentation is not thorough enough.

AAP resolves configuration drift from secure baselines required for security compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about the product of its agent less feature which help us to maintain upgrade process easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The windows Agent less still require improvement in the product. There should also be a seem less upgrade from one version to another.

We are using this product for security compliance
Ansible is a great tool for automation

I love that Ansible can connect to any device without using an agent.

The license cost per node is quite high. There are open source versions available to use though not recommended for production environments.

It allows me to quickly manage devices across my entire infrastructure.
