Rhombus is an invaluable tool
What do you like best about the product?
Due to companies being added to the NDAA, we had to find a different security camera provider. After reviewing multiple brands, we decided on Rhombus. The main driver was cost for this decision. Every feature we needed was met and Rhombus was able to undercut the competition on cost. After the move, we were amazed at the ease of implementation and how effortless it was to add on additional cameras as we expanded our coverage. Customer server has been just as supportive 3 years in as they were on day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
We tried to be an early adopter of their access control system. Their sales and engineers seemed to be unprepaired for what they were launching. After a few months of trying to get the system of the ground, we decided to return everything and go with a different manufacturer for access control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NDAA compliance while provided are simple video surveillance that we require.
Rhombus quick and easier K-12 Solution for Security
What do you like best about the product?
Rhombus has been mostful with the Vape Sensors in the Student Restrooms with a camera on the exits of the restrooms. Using AI technology to capture the face of the student moments after the Vape has been triggered. It has reduced the spread of illegal substances in our schools and prevent the continous use. The staff and security are able to monitor and quickly assess situations using the Cloud platform during and after school hours especially during events. Additionally are very easy to install equipment. Customer Service was great as well during the process and provide the answers and information we needed with additional training.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is able to be damaged by the student and needs more durability. At the school we put the product in a area that is lets difficult for students to damage in the restroom area with the Vapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rhombus is assisting our K-12 Schools to be able to prevent and stop vaping and other illegal substances in our schools with providing a safe envirnoment for our students.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and cost of the product. Users like it alot.
What do you dislike about the product?
The yearly cost of the product is not ideal.

Security cameras for our buildings.
Good system but can use price changes
What do you like best about the product?
We find the overall system and integrations to be of very good value, however, in some cases the cameras are naive market value for comparable products

The cost of the cameras can be above market value

Rhombus Camera Systems: Reliable & Affordable
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very affordable in comparison to other options but does not lack in features. No on-prem DVR is also a plus because it removes a single point of failure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an Android TV app similar to the one on Apple TV. We have several Android-based TVs that could form a video wall, but there’s no supported app for Android TV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had reliability issues with a traditional camera system. Almost any minor failure causes data loss. With Rhombus as long as the camera is getting power, it's recording.
Great cameras and software
What do you like best about the product?
Ui is very easy to use and I love the ability to make dashboards quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
SSO integration and support could be better

Providing us cloud backed cameras
Low cost option for cloud hosted cameras and access control.
What do you like best about the product?
Their support is very proactive and the cameras are easy to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of the access control could be better. The durablility of the card readers/intercom door bells is not suitable for high-use areas.

Rhombus is providing a hosted solution so that I was able to reduce my internal infrastructure.
Used Rhombus at several companies now
What do you like best about the product?
At their pricepoint, they do a great job. The features they offer, including their access control and alarm monitoring, are exceptional
What do you dislike about the product?
The alarm system was a little glitchy at first, but they seem to have the issues ironed out and support is excellent. We were one of the first adopters of this system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alarm monitoring is easy. If something isn't right, they call us. Door control works well and came in at a better price -- and is tied into our alarm and cameras.
Great security camera solution
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Support response times. ability to customize based on site locations. implementation is simple and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
wish we could have utilized access control, although our current badges did not integrate with rhombus
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
video security via cloud platform. Also, moved to rhombus during covid when other solutions were backordered, Rhombus was not.
Excellent UI
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to find footage, intuitive user interface. Great support.

Higher end translates to higher costs, but worth it in most cases
