Rhombus has changed the way we think of camera systems
What do you like best about the product?
The cloud aspect of the Rhombus cameras is the best! We are replacing our CCTV cameras with cloud-based Rhombus cameras so our teams can view footage from anywhere on the planet! This remote access capability is a game-changer for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Rhombus systems are pricy, more than traditional CCTV cameras, but you get so much more with Rhombus! The AI features, extended storage, and time-lapse capabilities, make it worth the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On our old CCTV system, we had dedicated workstations where users had to travel to in order to view the video footage. The video clips could not be emailed or played on standard media players on our computers. Rhombus allows us to email URLs liked to the video so anyone can view at any time.

What do you like best about the product?
It's simplicity and modern security. The app is simply but you can get so much more out of the console.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish LPR capturing worked at night. Traditional LPR cameras have the ability to isolate surrounding light and allows to uniquely capture a license plate

Excellent Camera Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Advanced features like integrated LPR & AI Facial Recognition are essentials for security at our jewelry store. We have been able to lean heavily on our Rhombus system to monitor our salesfloor & exterior of our building with high resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subscription cost per camera prohibits us from maintaining as large of a system as we would like. We have a good number of strategically placed cameras, but we have had to implement a redundant secondary system to ensure no blind spots exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security is essential for our small family-owned jewelry store; besides excellent resolution, additional features like alerts when a known risk associated face is detected has helped keep our team alert and safe.

What do you like best about the product?
AI components look to offer useful tools. Platform is easy to use. The ease of uploading and sharing files is great. Video walls are useful. The 360 cameras immersive mode is a nice feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the high price, I expected everything to work exceptionally. I was disappointed by the actual level of resolution, quality of overall streaming, and AI performance. The resolution is inferior, even when the highest is selected on a good bandwidth. The quality of streaming is often slow and doesn't load. Uploading videos for shared files can take hours. When you have a video wall going, it depends on the browser for formatting and refreshing. It would be nice if separate software could display a video wall in real-time with no lag and always be on. I have a restaurant, and keeping a video wall going all day for surveillance is tough. The AI performance often doesn't capture license plates from far away and doesn't recognize multiple faces of the same person very well. It also displays lots of upside-down faces and doesn't adjust the photo around. I gave up trying to utilize AI. I wanted to use AI mostly to see when an employee showed up for work and when they were visible on camera on a given day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating an investigation and sharing it with law enforcement is saving me time compared to how I used to do it on my old system. Video walls are easy to put together and gives me flexibility for different views.
Rhombus Camera System.....wish this was around years ago!
What do you like best about the product?
Rhombus is a great tool to use for property managers. It is a proactive camera system. The alerts you can set up are amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not ran into anything that I do not like about this system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used this system instead of having an alarm system at a building. You can set alerts up for specific areas with movement during defined time frames.
Easy functionality, strong tools and solid integration
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Openpath, the access control system we using added alot of value through being able to . The powerful AI tools incl. face recognition have made using the system a breaze
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be futher and better bi-directional integration with more systems. More types of cameras would also solve for more solutions.

Security and access control monitoring. Being able to track down offenders to improve behaviour

What do you dislike about the product?
keep up the excellent work no negative feed back from client all customers are very happy that we share all incidents happening in their market area, to reduce shrinkages and customer are aware of the incidents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping the customer aware of any theft that they need to educate their staff that this is not a free market you need to pay before leaving the area and i also view their coolers if they are empty ad and they nee refill.

Limited mounting options. Adding these to a ceiling tile could have been made much easier with the addition of a small bracket or plate.

What do you like best about the product?
So simple to install ourselves and set up! We love the app and the easy to review and capture video... images are very clear and the ability to quickly review them as well. All round great system!

I can't think of anything we don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our school it solved many problems from costs to getting an outstanding security system!
