Rhombus is awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
Rhombus makes all clients and partners feel like family while providing the best technology to meet our security needs. Rhombus is always just a chat or phone call away to answer daily questions or provide technical advice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of cameras and other systems are awesome! Just wish they had their own integrated door security system available today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rhombus provides all security problems for us in one great platform for a multitude of clients.

What do you like best about the product?
The picture quality is amazing. Being able to go back on the computer and view things is easy also.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problems of not having to worry about security and being able to see what's happen live.
Great cloud security camera product
What do you like best about the product?
The AI functionality available in the Rhombus product is fantastic. It's easy to do the things we need to do in the interface, and there are plenty of integrations to help leverage other technology platforms. Also, they do a great job with customer support and warranty replacements, making it as hassle-free as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI does require a fair amount of training, but it's hard to fault it for that. AI needs to learn, and there is a significant amount of time that needs to be put into teaching it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a problem with our exterior security cameras, as they did not have the kind of functionality that we desired. We replaced them with Rhombus and liked them so much that we are replacing our interior cameras with Rhombus as well.
Great Camera System
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to install and use. The portal is not cluttered and is easy to navigate to search and share footage. The facial recognition is on point too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. If I had to pick I'd have to say the user interface is not wow but its functional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping increase our visual coverage and has improved our security analytics capabilities.
Great cloud-based video surveillance solution
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations and API platform that has allowed us to connect this solution into the rest of the platforms we use such as PDK door access controls and Microsoft 365! We've enjoyed connecting the video surveillance capabilities into other platforms to alert us when people come into the office and playing their theme music across the office. This solution requires no infrastructure and works over low bandwidth connections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see more granularity to create additional webhook targets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can detect mismatches between the person using our door access control systems badge and the actual person. If our janitorial crew shares their badge we know it!
Rhombus is the best cloud product on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Everything! Rhombus has the best pricing for quality cloud camera solutions, their video wall works very well, there are plenty of API integrations for example, with products such as Kisi, and some really cool features can be implemented, including triggering facial recognition alerts to notify the dashboard admins if the wrong access control user entered with a badge based on the user's face not matching, the video is sent out with only 1 second of latency. The pricing is also better than anything else in this classification for both hardware and licensing!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike about this product. If I had to pick something I would say that it would be nice if the cameras could dual stream, this would allow for simultaneous cloud and local recording for the cameras.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rhombus is solving a few issues for our clients, one being ease of management, cloud managed cameras make it possible for the customer to no longer has to maintain hard drives and recorders or be concerned with network outages. The cameras have local onboard hardware for local recording in case of network issues and reconnect video streams when the network is restored. The cameras offer incredible smart analytics that is second to none, which can really help customers with features such as crowd management, people counting (great for stores and malls) and even facial recognition.
Great system!
What do you like best about the product?
The rhombus system is easy to use. I really like the 360 views and the ease of navigating the data streams. It's easy to back at previous videos and the archived videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to get the downloaded version of the videos when they're too big.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the business environment it helps us find lost parts and in unfortunate cases lost people.
A great camera system for remote and lean IT/Security departments

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Cost. It is CRAZY expensive, but then again, so are most products in this category (Meraki et al.)
2. Location Grouping needs a minor tweak, but I'm nitpicking here.
3. Installation. I know I put this as a plus, but that's only because I've been using the cameras in all forms (R1, R2 to the new R400's) for the past five years. IF you don't know what you are doing, you can damage the cameras, not seal the weatherproofing properly and get moisture or oil on the inner domes. It's best to have rhombus send out a professional installer. Otherwise, you will void the 10-year warranty

As stated before, Rhombus makes remote system management (camera settings, view panes, alert settings etc) an absolute breeze. It is also second to non as far as end-user roles, privileges and management is concerned. IT allows me to keep my team lean and focused without having to worry about teaching end users how to use they system.

What do you like best about the product?
Working with Rhombus is fantastic. The customer service from sales and support is second to none. Any questions or concerns are addressed ASAP.
What do you dislike about the product?
No, everything works how it should. I have never had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Had an RMA and they took care of it no questions asked.

What do you like best about the product?
I like rhombus' IT integration and easy-to-use admin interface. The portal is easy to navigate and edit, making our ability to keep our campus safe and secure that much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like it's based on the cameras we installed and their location, but the facial recognition feature we were sold on is not as accurate or extensive as we had hoped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Campus security and safety – there are many folks coming and going on site, and being able to identify staff, clients, volunteers, and POI's is crucial to our operations.
