Million miles better than our old Intranet
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr was super easy to deploy and so easy to train users on. Even those who weren't very confident with tech picked it up so quickly.
We have had amazing feedback from employees - including the quote I used for this Title 'Million miles better than our old Intranet' and 'Before I would never really check the Intranet, whereas now I actively go onto the terminal to see what's happening in the world of PS!
It is easy to make it look slick as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
Would love if we could duplicate content - like recurring events and pages and also host video content within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a one-stop-shop for all employees as well as a platform that broke down geographical barriers across offices. Previously updates were lost in Slack or email so it's been so nice to give people a place to go and find the resources they need.
Deploy an intranet in no time
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of configuration and deployment. Simpplr was very easy to configure and launch, the majority of the work that was required was on the content audit side and making sure that the content that is being migrated to Simpplr is relevant, up-to-date and high quality. Simpplr "pages" approach makes it easy to create engaging interconnected content. The variety of different roles available (content managers, site managers, site owners) truly supports a decentralized governance model, which in our case was a must-have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of dedicated support team for EMEA. Our deployment was in Europe, so we had to work around quite a big time zone difference. The team made themselves available as of 6am their time to mitigate this problem however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Simpplr as our Intranet and knowledge management tool. We have migrated all of our organization-wide announcements to it and almost completely eliminated sharing policies/articles/updates as files, they are all being published on Simpplr now. We leverage the different channels, like announcements or the home carousel to segment the communications accordingly to the different audiences we have.

What do you like best about the product?
I love having Simpplr as our intranet. It allows us to offer our employees one source of truth for all things at our company. The customer support team is super helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some technical issues that take a while to resolve. But we always provide feedback and Simpplr works on resolving those for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Source of truth for all our employees. Have a question? Go to our intranet to find the answer! Helps us self serve our growing company more.
User-friendly interface that enables employees across the organization!
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how intuitive Simpplr is to use - from the moment I logged onto the platform, it felt familiar. More than that, it is so easy to begin creating content, and encourage others to submit content to be published. Due to its ease of use, we've seen a huge uptick from our global workforce in wanting to create content for their departments, affinity groups, CSR initiatives, and beyond!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Simpplr would be certain things surrounding compliance, but that is only because our team has strict protocol surrounding this which limits what we can/cannot post. However, the team at Simpplr has worked tirelessly with us to figure out ways to still deliver critical content to our employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We finally have a centralized knowledge base that is easy to navigate! Before Simpplr, we were so dependent on Slack for communications and announcements, but Slack is not designed for this type of communication. While we still use Slack, there has been a transition to using it as a way to promote content on Simpplr. No longer are announcements lost in a channel or direct message that could take forever to find, but everything our employees need lives write on Simpplr!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend looking at the integrations Simpplr has and analyze them against your current and prospective tool stack!
Excellent product, keeps, planning, launching and running an intranet simple
What do you like best about the product?
The product is incredibly well thought out and can be completely run by your internal comms teams, no need to be technically savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with a different time zone (we are a European company).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better internal communication, easier and faster for colleagues to self-serve knowledge and information and better collaboration with 6 distributed offices

Have a concrete plan for what you would like your intranet to be and how it will fit into your digital workplace. From there Simpplr is easy to implement
Simpplr Makes it Simple
What do you like best about the product?
It's the perfect solution for a centralized location for anything and everything relating to company policies, employee recognition, and any other information necessary to create a centralized and engaging location for employees to visit constantly. It is a place employees look forward to visiting and is a fun product in a way that it doesn't feel like a "burden" for employees to want to be engaged in the process on the site very frequently. Beautiful app as well that allows employees to remain up to date and engaged on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation was a bit bumpy as it relates to google single sign-on and other things, but the company (from the CEO down) got involved and things were figured out in a professional and expedient way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized intra-net with significant engagement by employees across all companies. A central repository for company policies, updates, and urgent announcements. The biggest benefit is that it is a very efficient way to ensure all employees can be quickly aligned on key announcements.
Keeping us connected
What do you like best about the product?
As a national organisation with a range of users with varying computer skills, Simpplr allows us to stay connected and gives everybody the chance to participate. The user interface is clean and navigation is easy. The search functionality is incredible and you can pretty much always find what you're looking for. Even a post on the feed from years ago.
Simpplr have an accessible and supportive team who are ready to help you solve any problem, and on the rare occasion there is an issue, they sort it out quick smart. Simpplr support teams are superior to any I have come across before.

What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping on top of the content that is posted in the feed can be overwhelming for some employees, especially those who are not sitting at a computer daily. To help with this, we use a weekly newsletter to highlight the must-know information. The newsletter functionality in Simpplr could be improved to be more flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a nationally disperse organisation in Australia, we have offices and people across the country, some work remotely by themselves or with one or two colleagues in a small office. Keeping all our people connected and having a single source of truth has allowed us to keep people informed, given them a platform to have a voice to share challenges and wins. We exceed 80% of our people logging in month on month, and similar percentages for viewed content. Simpplr makes keeping people informed, well, simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At a minimum, at least put Simpplr on your shortlist. Their level of support is amazing, and the system itself is a great for employee communication.
It works and people use it
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simppl (lol) it works. There is not too much of a learning curve for people new to this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the rendering, it does seem to be limited to specific sizes and it does not auto adjust images to match the space given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User/Self posting. This system is permission based and it's fairly simppl at that. So granting permissions are easy and straight forward and it's not like it's all or nothing.

There are some image and video constraints that could use improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have all of our organization's tools, resources, and content centralized before. It's still early to say what benefits we've realized, but our log-in numbers are strong!
Finally, a refreshingly intuitive modern intranet
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is sleek and comes with modern features out of the box. The navigation simple and it actually doesn't come with overwhelming set of features to configure so setting it up is simple. Signing the contract to deployment took us less than 5 months so I think the idea that intranets take 12-18 months to set up is a thing of the past and Simpplr is a good example of that. Finally, we loved the customer service and so we had constant engagement and support even months after launch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simpplr is a relatively new product on the market so you have to bear with the team as they sort our wrinkles in the system and we had a couple of those but none of which were system critical. It's not a dislike per se but you need Salesforce expertise in your organization to make sure you make the most of the product and find solution to issues without waiting for Simpplr engineers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization did not have an intranet at all so this was part of our bigger digital workplace transformation.
