Great user-friendly intranet!

  • April 02, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tag pages and content is great! On my specific site, we are able to keep track of things easily by implementing tags for specific themes, events, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application is quite difficult to customize. Oftentimes thumbnails don't look correct and cannot be easily adjusted. There also are not enough different templates for sites. It would be great to have more ways to customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My group has been able to educate employees on diversity through our Simpplr site. We're able to have everythign in one place, store past event videos and presenations, and push out content via email and/or Slack. Through this I feel that we have gotten more participation in events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simplrr is great if you want a relatively user-friendly intranet! Be sure to work with the applicable teams to get content into the site and create a rollout plan in order for it to be successful.

Simpplr for Site Managers- It's Great!

  • April 01, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of using the Simpplr interface has been fantastic. It is very straightforward when it comes to creating and publishing content- someone who has never used it before could easily figure it out! The analytics are fantastic, and we love the ability to push content out through blogs, newsletters, integrated with Slack, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to formatting and designing pages, there are very limited design options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr has helped us move towards a self serve model for some of the high-volume/low-complexity questions our HR team gets. We are also able to "advertise" programs, events and company news with a good click through rate!

Couldn't Be Simpplr.

  • April 01, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is user friendly, intuitive, and a fantastic host for resources. I love the tag feature, the ability to share new sites and pages directly into Slack, and the engaging carousel feature that keeps you up to date on events currently taking place at PS!
What do you dislike about the product?
The thumbnail feature, would love to have a few more options, either to add an additional photo that properly fits the header and the thumbnail, or some additional cropping/formatting abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr allows us to house all time sensitive and relevant information in one, easy-to-access location. Especially with our efforts to streamline self-service, Simpplr provides a fantastic plaform for all employees to access company resources.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to create pages and share and comment on pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
When embedding a video, sometimes the view captured on the page isn't ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are sharing posts, files, and videos within our group with multiple authors; and then organizing the posts to make it easy to find later.

Great product, even better service

  • March 26, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
. What I find the most refreshing about using this platform is that I could quickly tell they put a lot of research into the features they offer. They listen to their customers and respond accordingly to their needs. The system is a breeze to use. Their auto-governance tool is also incredibly helpful in assuring that our community is not a content graveyard, which had been a problem in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of very minor things, such as limiting content for the newsletter. Even when we do run into an issue like this, our customer success manager has been fantastic at helping to brainstorm work arounds, getting support involved, and submitting new feature requests on our behalf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication has been the biggest one so far. Simpplr makes it really easy to send out content to employees. I'm looking forward to see the auto-governance tool come into effect when we hit the one year mark. It's incredibly helpful.

Single point of Truth!

  • March 24, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the navigation and search functionality. Makes finding new and exciting information easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of tabs. It's a minor complaint, but just like anything you need to simplify. Fewer tabs, but very minor complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems, just tons of benefits! I have created my own profile and can jump right back into what I was looking at. I like being able to follow certain leaders or blogs internally.

Perfect All Round Solution

  • March 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr trumped all the other solutions we looked at when picking an intranet solution. It beat all the other products on price, feature set and integrations with existing business systems. The platform is easy to use and naturally draws users to it whilst still maintaining a fully featured UI. We found no problems with Simpplr at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that stands out to us. We found no issues with it at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employee engagement, consistent look and feel of our intranet. A mobile app if possible. We realized all of these things with Simpplr

A Modern, Visually Appealing & Easy to Use Intranet

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is visually appealing with a modern social-media feel, which makes it attractive and easy to use for our employees. Everything from pages to Word docs to PDFs are searchable, and there's very little learning curve to for users to jump in and get going. From an admin and content creation perspective, it's fairly intuitive for those who have blogged or used WYSIWYG editors before - no coding experience required. Changes can easily be made on the fly - and even quickly reversed if you don't love what you see. There's also version tracking for pages and documents, which is an important feature for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor quibbles - because it's a 3rd party system, not everything is customizable. For example, we couldn't change a tab called "Apps" to "Links," which would have been more familiar for our employees. Also, a strange feature we only discovered after launching is that the search bar within a site is only functional for admins or site managers. Users can see it, but they get no results if they use it. We had to teach them to always use the global search bar. Not a huge issue, but an odd quirk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an outdated intranet that lacked search capabilities and was difficult to use. We also relied heavily on emails for internal communications. Moving to Simpplr gave us such robust search capabilities we were able to consolidate all of our knowledge documents in one place. Also, the ease of making updates and quickly disseminating them to staff has helped us cut down on emails. It's an ongoing process but we're excited about all of the opportunities Simpplr offers us - and we've gotten a lot of positive feedback from our employees on how much of an improvement it is.

Great Platform

  • January 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having a single source of truth that can easily be shared across teams is a real game-changer for us. It was incredibly easy to create content and to onboard other teams to get theirs uploaded as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our only real issue was the heavy reliance on images to drive content, as we don't have a huge repository of options for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to launching with Simpplr we had business-critical information in a lot of different places, and this tool helped gather everything into one elegant solution.

An intranet that really engages

  • December 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We chose Simpplr for its auto-governance features, search , analytics and easy-to-navigate layout, but we ended up wowed by its "feed" feature that really engages employees and facilitates two-way communication and connection. The feed also makes it easy to make more sophisticated internal communication plans: For instance, after publishing a story you can have leaders or peer influencers share the story to their followers, adding their commentary on top it and encouraging engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're only a couple weeks into the platform, but there isn't anything we dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we're solving is a lack of governance, an outdated platform and an analytics blackhole. Within 2 weeks of launching our new Simpplr platform, we'd had 94% of our workforce log onto our new intranet and they were creating and sharing their own content, in addition to engaging with our official internal comms--and we have the analytics to actually show it to leadership.
