Great tool - even better customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
I love so many elements of the Simpplr platform it's tough to narrow down to "the best". Clean UX. Simplicity of UI. Ease of implementation. And the best human customer team I've ever worked with, from sales though implementation!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not one thing. Really really. It is that good!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Clear Comms platform for executive communications. 2. One central source of truth for all information. Mission accomplished!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your due diligence. Then pick Simpplr.
Simpplr - From the IT Administrator Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is a super easy-to-use product for hosting and maintaining our organization's Intranet. It has several app integrations that we use everyday to increase our efficiency of communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any downsides to using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company's communication is more streamlined. Getting the correct information to the right people is easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simpplr is a fantastic product that makes managing a company Intranet easy and fast.
Simpplr dramatically improved our ability to communicate with employees!
What do you like best about the product?
We were fortunate to implement Simpplr just before the pandemic began. I can't imagine communicating with employees using legacy tools during a period of rapid and dramatic change. Simpplr allowed us to create compelling content quickly, spin up new sites, and promote content through Slack and other communication channels. Beyond that, we heard from employees that we were sending too much information through email. So, by sending short emails to employees with links to Simpplr content, we improved readership to over 90%.
The system's ability to create and promote content also made it easier for employees to create their content, share it, and receive immediate feedback. Simpplr therefore became a true social platform, and a key mechanism for connecting employees with leaders.

What do you dislike about the product?
Very little. We were surprised at how easy it was to implement, how successful we were in convincing stakeholders to move away from SharePoint, and how responsive they have been to requests. I feel like our account management team is listening to our needs. Not everything gets implemented, but we're heard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from a web-based front-end with a SharePoint back end. Engagement on the platform (outside of getting to other tools & systems) was low. And, everyone hated building content on SharePoint. Simpplr created an easy and consistent way to create content, target it to appropriate audiences, and promote it through other channels when necessary. Because the system has a consistent look and feel, the whole platform looks professional. And, it's so easy to use that any employee can create their own content.
These features combined have enabled us to communicate effectively to 6K worldwide employees with limited staff.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to "go slow to go fast." Make sure you clearly understand your stakeholder needs, and do a thorough review of competing products. Gartner and similar consulting companies are helpful. We made a conscious decision to pay for Simpplr even though SharePoint was already "paid for." Based on our research and analysis, I would not have made any other decision.
Amazing support team offers great intranet solution
What do you like best about the product?
You can utilize the tool with very little in-house IT support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping the data current, like the People Directory of titles, org chart, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved the need to create a virtual headquearters. Employees are beginning to utilize the tool more often.
Why make things difficult when it could be Simpplr?
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr has a smart and sophisticated design that makes it extremely user friendly. There is no complicated coding involved and you don't have to be a technical genius to figure things out! The intranet's dashboard and site-oriented layout means managers are able to inform, engage, and inspire their site members to centralize content and point to a single source of truth on information. This allows clients to build a platform for effective employee communication that leads to an inclusive, barrier free workplace. For all these reasons, including its scability and affordability, it was simple to go with Simpplr as our intranet provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simpplr has a handful of integrations that they've released, however our company hasn't utilized them because the integrations don't add much value to our intranet or the applications they are connected with. It's been mentioned that Simpplr is working on strengthening their integrations, so our company looks forward to what we may be able to achieve after further enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr's org chart is a great feature and our employees use it daily when they need to know who to go to for questions. It's also easy to navigate, and employees like to view the unique individual profiles to find emails and phone numbers.
Excellent Online Employee Engagement and Company Intranet - Great Support and Customer Care
What do you like best about the product?
The Simpplr team was the part I appreciated most. The software itself is great and met all of our needs, but the support we received from implementation through steady-state has been excellent. The implementation team of Kristen, Christine, Christy (they made it easy - we just had to start to say 'Chris' and someone would respond) were fantastic to work with and Aaron has been keeping us moving forward. Everyone has been a pleasure to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of setup that has to take place, especially organizationally. We are still working through it, but it didn't slow us down and it's a fair ask and necessary. There are some limitations based on Salesforce, but we see things being addressed and features being added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a better way to communicate with a very diverse and geographically dispursed population of employees working in many different environments. The goal was to reach more employees than we could through email and a traditional Intranet and I believe we are accomplishing that. We continue to work on engagement and while it's been slow at times (our choice) there is good energy and excitement around it.
Easy Learning Curve, Great Visuals
What do you like best about the product?
I love the streamlined, clean aesthetic of the brand that allows for simple customization and intranet management. I also really love how easy it is to "get in there" and figure it out yourself. The platform itself is very intuitive, and once you spend some time with it, the actual creation of pages, newsletters, etc. takes less and less time. I can easily share out updates across the organization within minutes.
Also, the customer service is top-notch. I truly feel like their team cares about our experience, analytics and overall enjoyment of the platform. They're very quick to respond and my monthly connects with them is something I look forward to.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a custom website, so of course, there are certain things I wish it had, but I've found workarounds for almost all of the areas that didn't meet our company's individual needs. It can be a bit buggy on the formatting side and I'm hoping they release analytics for the app soon as we haven't rolled that out yet to our employees. We want to be able to measure them before we do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for the need of knowledge. Creating an environment where you KNOW you can find the information (have you heard about their robust search feature? holy smokes) - whether it's business updates, company culture or knowledge-based - we can create a variety of digestible content for anyone to consume. It's quick, in your face information that is shareable amongst employees and engaging across all departments.
Excellent for internal communication, keeps everyone connected.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use; analytics; the ability to search; and the pace at which people may succeed with the application. However, some users are hesitant to utilize G-Drive because they don't want to share their data with a third party. Being able to communicate messages from our CEO in near-real time is the most helpful part of the system. Each team has a sense of being well-informed. Thanks for helping to bring our worldwide team together. It's straightforward to set up sites and manage information from an administrative viewpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hasn't given me any difficulties. Because we can only publish surveys to the author's feed, only those who follow the author will see the results. As a firm, we'd want the option of doing an anonymous, non-feed-dependent survey. As for the fact that you can't send a page/blog as an email without utilizing the newsletter tool, I'd like to see an email button appear right on the post itself. As an organization, this was the appropriate tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, our intranet had become a dumping ground for business documents, and it was only utilized when individuals needed to retrieve specific data. By providing timely, relevant, and interesting material, we're progressively converting individuals to the cause. Due to the dispersion of our personnel, mobile presence was critical. People who were comfortable generating material in our previous solution without direct IT participation were likewise in short supply in our previous solution. Managing a site using Simpplr is simple, and the flexibility to delegate content development tasks has resulted in interesting and relevant material.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
What a wonderful way to use your intranet! Give yourself plenty of time to negotiate a contract. It was always a pleasure to work with the Simpplr team, although some of the back and forth can take a long time to complete. As a result, we had to move quickly to have things up and running in less than a month. Employees should be given 3-4 months to adjust to the new system. Organise departmental training sessions on how to utilize the platform adaption tool.
Excellent intranet platform, keeps everyone connected
What do you like best about the product?
Using Simpplr is a breeze. As a result, our worldwide team was able to implement it quickly and without incident. Since the platform is so straightforward, we got relatively few queries regarding it. Simpplr listens to you and your company's demands. Using Simpplr, we can keep in touch and everyone has the option to engage in discussions. Users will appreciate the user interface, which is simple and straightforward to go through. The search tool is excellent, and you can usually locate what you're searching for within a few seconds. Even a post from years ago might appear in the stream.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, users were not provided with any recognition items. This would make our staff feel appreciated and connected. They assured us it was on the product plan, which was excellent. Google Drive connection is also lacking, although it is being worked on as well. Some employees, especially those who don't sit in front of a computer every day, may find it difficult to keep up with the material uploaded to the feed. We do this by sending out a weekly email that highlights important facts. Simpplr's newsletter feature may be improved to make it more versatile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Simpplr, we are able to work together more efficiently. As a result, our worldwide workforce can receive real-time information, keeping everyone connected and engaged. Our management team is able to effortlessly communicate updates, thought leadership, and connect with workers through several channels. The fact that we keep all of our employees linked and have a single source of truth helps us to keep them informed and provide them a forum to voice their concerns or celebrate achievements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should add Simpplr to your list of candidates. Support is excellent, and the system itself is excellent for employee communication, thanks to its robust features. Before you sign up for Simpplr, talk to your product team and the Simpplr product team to make sure the integrations you require are feasible. During our release process, several apps may not integrate as well as we would want.
Great and easy to use solution!
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is a very easy-to-use, out-of-the-box solution. The onboarding/implementation team and process is a very well-prepared and good process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more training options were available for the end-users; this was the only area where we had to re-create the wheel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to push comms and content out to the org. We are really enjoying the abilities for auto governance, as well as the org directory capabilities.
