Easy Intranet Setup with Some Design Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Simpplr for its simplicity and how it is easy to use, which makes it incredibly user-friendly for an intranet. It effectively serves the purpose of communicating internal news and announcements within the company. As an admin, I find it easy to craft, edit, and post pages and events, which adds to its versatility and efficiency. The support and service provided by the Simpplr team are commendable, ensuring a smooth user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Simpplr's limited customization options to be a drawback, as it makes the experience feel static and less dynamic. The overall design could be improved to allow for more flexibility. I would appreciate more design features, variations in homepage designs, and a broader range of user experiences. It would be beneficial if the forms, tiles, and how information is presented could be modified similarly to how customization is handled in platforms like WordPress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Simpplr for communicating internal news and announcements through a simple and versatile intranet that's easy to manage and supports crafting pages and events.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Simpplr serves as our comprehensive platform for communications and access to supporting applications, effectively acting as a one-stop shop. It significantly enhances our employee experience by fostering global connections, allowing team members to engage with each other through stories, articles, and shared wins. I find it invaluable that it houses all our essential documents and tools like benefits information, internal forms, and pricing sheets, which are critical to our various divisions. I appreciate the versatility and extensive knowledge available both from the personal support staff and the online knowledge base, which provides me with extensive resources and support when needed. Additionally, I am impressed by Simpplr's integrations such as connecting Outlook calendars and incorporating PowerBI, reflecting its adaptability and enhancement to our workflow. The simplicity of rolling out new features like 'Rewards' speaks to the user-friendly nature of the setup process. Overall, I'm quite impressed with Simpplr and would rate it highly, which is why I give it a 9.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, the terminology was difficult to grasp - sites vs pages, and the various roles. I came from outside the communications industry and had more of a website background, so the terminology required a change in my vocabulary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr enhances our global employee experience by fostering connections, enabling story-sharing, accessing key documents and tools across divisions, and connecting applications like Outlook and PowerBI.

What do you like best about the product?
We love that Simpplr makes it incredibly easy for us to create, organize, and share content across our credit union. The platform is intuitive for both administrators and end users, which has helped us achieve an outstanding 97% adoption rate. Our employees know that if they need information, updates, or resources, they can find it quickly and consistently on Simpplr. It has truly become the central hub for our internal communication and collaboration.
We also really value the recognition module. It helps us celebrate employees and teams in a very visible, meaningful way, reinforcing our culture and values across the organization. Recognitions shared on Simpplr make people feel seen and appreciated, and they encourage more peer-to-peer positivity and engagement.
Overall, Simpplr has been a trusted partner since 2019 and continues to evolve with our needs. It strikes the right balance between powerful functionality and ease of use, which is critical for a busy, growing credit union like ours.

What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation we’ve encountered with Simpplr is the file module. Our credit union relies heavily on a wide variety of forms, and unfortunately the current file storage capabilities within Simpplr don’t support our forms in a way that allows us to use the module as our primary repository. Because of this, we’ve had to maintain an alternative storage location for all of our files outside of Simpplr.
This creates extra steps for our employees, who have to leave the intranet to access certain documents, and it prevents us from fully centralizing our content and resources on the platform. If the file module could better support complex forms and serve as a true document repository, it would significantly enhance our overall experience and allow us to consolidate even more of our digital workplace within Simpplr.

Before Simpplr, information was scattered across multiple systems and email chains, which made it hard for staff to stay aligned and up to date. Now, our intranet serves as the central source of truth for news, resources, and internal communications, and our 97% adoption rate shows that employees genuinely rely on it in their day-to-day work.

With the recognition module, we can easily spotlight employees and teams, celebrate wins, and reinforce our values across the entire organization. Not having someone dedicated to be the "in house developer" is still an issue, it can't fix everything.

Improve employee engagement and a go to place for all employee communications. A repository for things that MIGHT be needed.

The platform is easy to use and easy to update.

I really do not have any dislikes other than I have to log in everytime we use it instead of it just popping up.

Integrations with Google Drive have been seamless. Still early in implementation, but training support has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had one more subcategory for knowledge content from a page. Collapsible tile option on my dashboard would be a game changer.

Simpplr is hands-down the best internal communications tool I've ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
As an internal communications professional, Simpplr makes life so much easier because you can manage all your comms across mediums in one place, as well as events and email newsletters. It's integrated really well with our existing infrastructure too, and is easy to use and navigate. The team are also amazing, responsive and so good at what they do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it would be nice to be able to customise designs a little more to make things feel fresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr is solving issues with digital fatigue, giving our employees one platform from which they can do lots of their work. From an internal comms perspective, it solves a similar issue, giving us the chance to manage internal comms across channels and mediums on one platform. It also enables us to provide accurate, engaging information to staff to help them do their jobs better too.

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and direct, you don't waste time on trying to understand how to figure out how to use the platform. Analytics are on point. You can immediately start creating and focusing on the content and the value it brings to your employees. Customer support is fast, and it integrates with our internal systems smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very customizable. The design is quite simple and doesn't allow for many creative features to be explored, leaving with a more basic visual design.

Creating a central platform for all things company-related, the source of truth where employees can access internal updates, announcements and more.
