Simpplr Has Transformed How We Communicate at Work

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Simpplr in my company for over a year now, and I have to say, it's had such a huge effect on how we stay connected, especially with so many of us working remotely or in hybrid environments.

The interface is minimal, intuitive, and requires little training. I'm able to access updates from leadership, see critical documents, and understand what's happening with various teams without having to dig through emails or shared drives.

I like the customized homepage. It shows me news and updates that are unique to my work and location, so I'm not bombarded with stuff that doesn't apply to me. I also enjoy the social features—being able to like and comment on posts makes the whole experience more interactive and enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be that the content permissions are somewhat confusing initially, especially if you're an admin. But overall, after you're all set up, it runs smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Simpplr to recognize employee achievements and post internal job opportunities, which has helped boost morale and awareness across departments.

What do you like best about the product?
One positive aspect of Simmplr is its foundation on the Salesforce Digital Experience, which ensures strong security. Additionally, it offers useful features like a company org chart. However, despite being built on the Salesforce platform, we were unable to create an integration to display our own Salesforce data on our Simmplr site. This limitation meant that Simmplr became another separate platform that staff had to visit, rather than serving as a centralized hub, which hampered adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simmplr appears to cater primarily to large companies with dedicated internal communications staff. As a small to mid-size nonprofit, we found that their implementation plan and onboarding support did not align with the realities of our workflow and the many, many different hats our staff wear. They struggled to adjust their approach to better suit our organization's structure and capacity, oftentimes making it seem like they were rushing us to get things done simply so they could check it off on their own to-do lists.

It is also important to note the 60-day cancellation notice requirement. We reached out more than 90 days in advance to discuss our experience and made it clear at that time we were uncertain if we would be renewing or not. Unfortunately, our account representative was unprepared for the discussion, leading to the meeting being cut-short. Our account rep then failed to reach back out to use to set up the follow-up meeting we had discussed. We ultimately decided not to renew, in part because of the experience with our account rep, and provided notice of cancellation. However, because we had been waiting for our account rep to schedule the follow-up meeting, our notice of cancellation was made after the 60-day notification period. When we explained the situation, Simmplr initially refused to accept our cancellation notice and refused an offer to extend the existing contract for two months to meet the 60-day requirement. In the end, only agreeing to approve a six-month extension. This customer service experience left us with a very poor impression, and based on this alone, we would not recommend the platform.

Internal communications for a network of staff dispersed across the country.

Solid platform that has a great UI and is incredible to work with

What do you like best about the product?
The Simpplr platform really creates a sense of belonging, and brings out our company's culture in one place. Our teams here use the platform for important announcements, latest news, quick links to different softwares, upcoming events, past company meeting recordings and so much more! The ease of navigating through the platform is seamless and seems a lot like an Apple product! When someone asks about company events or anything our company related, one simple search on Simpplr and BOOM it's there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't put too much thought about what I dislike. Only thing I would say is that our teams sometimes have trouble logging into Simpplr's platform. Not too sure why it is, but usually it's fixed by slacking our IT team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all things in one single place allows for your one stop shop!

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr provides easy-to-use tiles, blogs, pages, and sites to connect your organization with culture, learning, and on-demand resources that your employees need each day. Simpplr is our culture hub and the internal face of our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many features aren't included in the basic package, expensive add ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr gives our employees worldwide a centralized place to learn about the company and connect with one another. We empower our employees to learn about each other and connect to groups and causes that are important to them, while getting important news, updates, policies, information, and benefits to employees in the way they want to receive it (desk, email, mobile app).

What do you like best about the product?
Getting insights into other teams work, recognition, upcoming team events and success stories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I don't have the time to create the content. But not too much of an issue as other people can add to our team page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibality of work by teams that don't always cross over.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and I've also had experience with raising a Simpplr supoprt ticket - I found the team to be incredibly responsive and very knowledgeable.
I manage sites in our intranet and find the interface easy to use and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't personally experienced anything negative.

It provides us with a solid platform to use for our company.

You are unable to download a report of which users have viewed which page/post.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way it brings the whole organisation to one digital space, allowing us to celebrate our wins together. Really user-friendly as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no live chat feature that you can ask suport questions to and get answers immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Before Simpplr, we didn't have a common place to celebrate wins.
- Before Simpplr, we struggled to share material with everyone, opting for group emails/chats which don't have the same impact.
