Solid and stable asset management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The stability of the product configuration. The product is easy to configure and does not require any configuration maintenance. The platform is configured once and from then on it is just operated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some filters and field controls are excessive, and make the platform somewhat inflexible. Not having the ability to add unlimited custom fields to your modules limits the creativity and use of AssetSonar in different scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proper IT asset management, including control of expenses, warranties and depreciation.

AssetSonar is a great product
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is at the top of my list with a lot of functionality hidden within. My team mainly uses it for contract / vendor management. Very efficient within that realm.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes as of now. The tool seems to do everything that is required from a vendor contract management perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick efficient tool, my team mainly leverages it to do our vendor and contract management. The platform makes it super easy to use so that I can get in, do my work and get out of the platform in a short amount of time.

AssetSonar is a treasure for IT Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
More than anything, AssetSonar provides incredible flexibility and compatibility with several major MDM solutions such as JumpCloud, Jamf, Kandji and more, as well as allowing a very large degree of customization to tailor your workspace to your exact needs. I use it daily and it is one of the tools at the core of my day to day operation.
It is easy to use and the ability to create custom fields, substates, retirement reasons and more makes extremely versatile.
Another great feature is the ability to generate Custom and Detailed reports which the option to run a report of essentially any specific data that you want as opposed to being forced to run a generic report and then pick through the information that is presented.
They are also constantly expanding their offering to ensure that they are providing you with the best management platform available especially with their new and expanding offering of SAAS Integrations.
Customer support is very helpful with even the smallest problems and will find a solution for you, no matter how long it takes.

What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment nothing really comes to mind. Any issue I've had previously has already been fixed or resolved the primary one being the lack of an AssetSonar Agent for Linux devices and a more straightforward process for installing the agent on macOS devices. EZO is constantly improving their AssetSonar platform by adding new features and updating old ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest things are inventory management and Audits. AssetSonar is allowing us to keep a clear record of our devices history from purchase to EOL. We can receive full metrics from AssetSonar as well as from the built integration with JumpCloud. They even have a flexible API that allows us to export and utilize the data externally. BEcause of AssetSonar's flexible reporting, we can easily compare the desired data from AS to any of our other Information Systems.

What do you like best about the product?
The variety of reports available. The granularity of the product. The integrations like with Zendesk and Google sheets. Easy to use. I heard the implementation was easy though I did not participate. I am currently working on implementing the software feature so will be able to add more later.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software implementation of browser based SaaS seems difficult. I am still working on it. The filters seem convoluted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting. Managing our assets. Yes it is benefitting. I like that it seems to have new features frequently.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the asset management application. It was easy to integrate in our endpoint. We have been using this product 2+ years and are loving it. We haven't have any issues yet, but I'm sure if the product is this good, then the customer support won't be lacking also.

There is no trash bin for deleted asset to allow recovery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AssetSonar is solving the issue of keeping our asset organized and up to date.
Good option for basic inventory tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and set up. It covers all basic inventory needs. Overall the onboarding process was simple with some minor hiccups in terms of software inventory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of the bidirectional sync for software licenses synced through Okta. I would prefer a single direction sync from Okta to AssetSonar to avoid any de-provisioning issues.

Being able to keep track of our physical inventory such as laptops and conferencing equipment.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to find what device/software license do I own from the lists, as well as manage the expiration date of softwares.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be very helpful if the privacy can be protected, as I acutally don't want other collegues to see what device I have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software is a benefit for the IT managers as it can provide detailed information on who has registered what device into the company account.
For end users, it is helpful that IT managers can see that information instead of asking us for details all the time.
