Great tooling for localization from users and professionals
What do you like best about the product?
I like the helpful support and the great tooling with Google Play and GitHub integrations. Many localization vendors like e2f or Translate By Humans are available to choose from or you could even make the project public and allow users to contribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that some formats like app descriptions on Google Play in the fastlane structure are not supported out of the box. Competitors like Weblate are doing way better on this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Crowdin, my app is now localized into several languages with the help of users and vendors. The GitHub and Google Play integration takes a lot of manual work from me, and updates now work automatically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The closest competitor is Weblate, in my opinion. I recommend trying both out and seeing which fits your needs more.

What do you like best about the product?
Having worked with Crowdin in the past, it is always a pleasure to see how it adapts to new projects, new requirements, and the changing face of localization.
I used Crowdin classic before and have now moved to the Enterprise version. With Localization being an expanding need across the company, it is a pleasure to work with a tool that offers so many out-of-the-box integrations to suit the different teams impacted by localization. Figma for our design team, Github Enterprise and Visual Studio Code for engineering, Dropbox and Google drive for our product teams, Zendesk for support, Marketo and Salesforce...the list goes on, and it keeps growing. Most other TMS charged us separately for each integration, but Crowdin includes most integrations as part of our Enterprise license.
Another thing I have loved is the visual editor for workflows. We set up each project according to specific needs, moving steps around and connecting them visually (this is a real step up from the classic version). Some projects go through translation and editing only. Some go through multiple rounds of reviews. And for specific projects we have added quick Machine Translation steps before any human review happens, so we get translations instantly from the provider of our choice (Amazon Translate, DeepL, etc.) with just an API key needed.
One thing I found particularly interesting is that we can choose the MT provider we want per language within one same project. So I can use the best-rated MT for each language combination, and it all happens seamlessly in the background.
Everything else is exactly as good or even better than the classic version, with the amazing support team still being my favorite part of working with Crowdin.

Still getting used to the new interface and some things are less intuitive (like where to update target languages). I am also still figuring out how roles and steps work in the enterprise version. It seems more powerful but a bit confusing at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin adapts to the specific needs of each of our projects. There is no one way to do everything, and this flexibility is key. We're achieving more than we could with other providers at the same or lower price point.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Check the real price of each alternative TMS when you include all the support hours, user licenses, hosted words and integrations you need.
- Talk to the Crowdin support team as soon as you start your trial. Tell them what you need. They will be lifesavers.

Really cool to internationalize your web application
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to get translations for langauges I never learned. Adding Crowdin to your software could increase the user audience a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to advertise your project on the platform to get more translation support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having translated WebUI lowered the level for the users to use the app in their language.

A pleasure to work with on a daily basis
What do you like best about the product?
I originally got to know about Crowdin as we use if for Zotonic - which is a big open source project with lots of languages. Crowdin was great for cordinating lots of translators and proofreaders. For LearningStone we use it on a daily basis combining machine translatiojn and proofreading. I love the integrations and the interfaces. Espcially the ability to see and edit all languages at the same time and the suggestions from multiple sources to support you.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I don't like. In our case we would like to be able to choose per language if the translation will be formal or informal.

Managing multiple languages for our platform and working with proofreaders for each language.

The proposals that are made based on translation service but especially strings, you have translated in the past.

At the beginning the setup of a project might be a little complex. But last but not least they have good help pages and documentation.

Certainly top of the notch product, although paid tiers slightly too expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Super usable, supports all localization file formats, very convenient. In most cases automatic translations for most popular languages are outstanding, so you can translate the majority of the strings just by pressing a button.

Paid tiers are quite expensive so if you're indie developer, you can only afford a free tier.

Localizing my software to many languages. CrowdIn allowed to get help from lots of contributors for free.
Amazing Localisation Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I tried different localisation platforms for Open Source Project but none was as good as Crowdin. I like their translation memory and they have the best support for OS
What do you dislike about the product?
None. i found it awesome and have lost of integration but if we can get more customization for PR when integrated to GitHub, it'll be awesome!

I'm using for OS project linked to Crowdin to translate Open Science Vocab - It is good for getting a community of volunteers!

Maintaining our translations is easy. We are getting more languages for our product. It integrates well in our development process.
An All Round Solution for Everything You Need in Localization
What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin in-context translation provides one of the best experiences for translators as you exactly see how your translation will be previewed in real scenarios. It doesn't specialize in single aspect of translation as other software around but every aspect: from task management to payment. You can create cost estimation, project delivery forecasting and collaborative tasks for every member. During our last year experience we have improved our translation response up to %350, as it gets easier to update things in a streamlined way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration the the Wordpress scenerio would be appreciated via native add-on. Word string transformation is sometimes buggy. Ability to hide tag words is missing.
