    Computer Software

A pleasant and simple experience.

  • March 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like about Crowdin that it is very intuitive and simple and that it allows you to be able to contribute to improving a certain software in the languages you know
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to disagree, maybe I would update the somewhat old graphics in a more modern one, besides this I would improve the aspect of the selectable automatic translations, very often they are wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I didn't directly use crowdin as a tool for my application but to translate other applications

Piece of Art for Translating

  • March 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Code Editors are great, but the way Crowdin created the tool to easily translate strings and long text, plus built-in translator that helps, especially with previously translated projects, is just pure art. I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would think, maybe the pricing could be a bit lower or offer the free version with better benefits. Beside of that, the only thing I could say is, maybe a new design? :P
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pretty much handy when it comes to track my progress and continue work where I left off, without any trouble. Plus its easy to work together, no need to git push, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive UI, takes time to learn.

What do you like best about the product?
Open to development. They are very helpful with support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Companies or organizations that want to have translations want a lot of detailed translation and want all translations to be free. Crowdin should be an intermediary in terms of wages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and practical

Great experience for several years

  • March 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Crowdin for several years and I am very satisfied with both product functionality and their customer support team. Whenever I need help and send e-mail to support I usually get a reply within 15 minutes. We use only small part of existing functionality because Crowdin has a ton of features and integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like pricing being more flexible in some cases. Sometimes I need a feature that is available only with a high-level more expensive plan while I do not need other features provided by this plan. However, so far, Crowdin support always provided appropriate solutions in such cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I upload applications' resource strings to Crowdiin, provide access to multiple translators and download ready-made translations from Crowdin in the required formats. In my case I upload Android application resources and can download translations both for Android and iOS. I found the feature to attach screenshots to every string very convenient because it provides translators with the context of the string usage.

The benchmark of the software localization platforms

  • March 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and manage. I've used Crowdin for several projects and would switch back from other platforms in no time. The webpages are responsive, so it's easy to pop in when on a mobile to do a quick edit. Another thing I liked is the fact that language flags are up to date, which is something other platforms disregard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. I prefer Crowdin over other translation platforms I used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reach out to a wider audience by offering a localized translation.

Crowdin made my entire game server network localizable

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up import / export functions make the integration of Crowdin very easy. The editor is very powerful and translators continually praise it for its amazing UI – especially when compared to competitors like Phrase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite frankly there is not a lot that I dislike about Crowdin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin made it possible for us to translate our entire game server network into more languages than we could have ever imagined. It made it possible to finally get our product out into the world.

Also – I forgot to mention this before – but Crowdin's support is one, if not the most amazing and fast product support I have ever experienced.

From 15 years of experience, Crowdin beats the most

  • March 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely user friendly and self-explaining interface. Fast and accurate. Lots of supportive features that guide you through the sometimes tedious task of doing translation work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few more ways to do it than necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that open-source software is accessible to users in their native language is a significant concern. It's essential to recognize that minor languages are under considerable pressure. Therefore, we must prioritize raising awareness about the localisation of software, especially in the context of free and open-source software.

Quality localization

  • March 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am really impressed by the QA tips. I am Dutch and my templates are in English, but the QA tips (even for Dutch) are awesome and really improve the quality of my product (like having a personal language teacher). I also love the integration with my Bitbucket repository and the way I can interact with other translators. And the hosted solution means I don't have to do any installation or maintanance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The possibilities with Crowdin are enormous and finding your way through all features can be overwhelming. A simple introduction video, highliting the various features, would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I previously had a self-hosted solution, but the installation and maintenance was giving me headaches. I can now focus on the translations instead of the technology.
