Crowdin - a great tool for managing translations - excellent service and support
What do you like best about the product?
The Crowdin platform makes translations much easier to manage in all the required languages for internal users, translation service providers, translators and reviewers. The customer support team provides excellent immediate service and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike; the Crowdin Customer Support team is very responsive and helpful if there are any issues. If there could be an easier way for the vendor to extract the keys containing the English translations (only the green strings) and ignore the red strings that would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now keep and maintain all our translations in one location for all the regions. There is easy access to our projects for all our stakeholders, our software team, the localization service provider, the translators, and proofreaders.

I really appreciate the user-friendly platform and interface. It's intuitive and easy to navigate, making managing localization projects a breeze. I also love that it supports many file types, including popular formats like json and html. This has been really helpful for me as I work on different types of projects.

What do you like best about the product?
What I most like about Crowdin is the easy way it offers to make real coworking possible. It helps for translation teams to be better organized. I use it for various projects and it just makes the job perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's very useful when a lot of people is envolved in a project, as a translator/user myself, I miss a transparency-like option that would give in real-time or at least, the option to let people in the same language team set a note-like or notification that let other members know each translator what is working on and avoid double translation work. Maybe, just putting it in a shell, an intern organization tools for members on the same language team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps and improves a localization project process for an app, software or website. I benefit from it because I help lots of projects in their localization and it's a comfy way for having translatable material pretty organized and handy for quick editions or proofreading. Also, it avoids problems for newbies, for example, who have never been involved in CAT tools. Its editor is easy to understand and to get help with context through messages. Also, experienced users can just download what they want to translate and use their favourite tool. It's versatile, for everyone.

Crowdin is a very good tool to translate for many companies
What do you like best about the product?
Many companies in the world use Crowdin to do language translations using foreign language professionals. Crowdin is the very good, assigning language translations is easy, and the translated work is very good. I have done many language translations with Crowdin in the last years, and I can say that Crowdin is better then Memosource and many translation tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you translate using Crowdin, you repeat daily Crowind , and this could happen to you: a Crowd could beat you very hard. I am a person that hate violence, and this is why the name 'Crowdin' could be dangerous.

I am a professional translator for 12 years now, I know 5 languages (Romanian, French, English, Italian, Latin and a little the Chinese language) I speak nearly perfect 3 languages. I made language translations in the past using Crowdin, and crowdin was very convenient and easy to use.

The Python library for Crowdin is also very helpful for automating translation tasks. Although it was a bit challenging to use at first, the documentation and regular updates make it easier for us to work with.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent tools for quick or extensive translations, straightforward to navigate and well organized. It is an ideal environment for translations.

There is nothing that I dislike about Crowdin!

The problem of complex and somewhat connected phrases in websites with many menus and articles that users should access easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Being a long-time translator and manager on Crowdin and Crowdin Enterprise, I can surely name it my favourite platform. I like the most: integration with third-party platforms and management features, support of any possible files, fast and responsive design, addons and machine translation integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good to have more flexible and convenient messaging capabilities. Anyway, already available options to comment, create and resolve issues, and communicate between project managers and members are good enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Crowdin mostly for volunteer projects to help bring great global products to all its users in their native language. All available features fulfil my needs very well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the solidarity of Crowdin and how it comes naturally from people. Sometimes we put in the effort to translate known or unknown brands into our language. When a user downloads a new application and sees that it does not support their language, they can get lost in unfamiliar terms and words, which affects their experience. We translators gather on Crowdin so that people can easily understand and enjoy the applications or websites they use or browse.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I translate a sentence or a few sentences and a person comes and changes a tiny and meaningless detail in the whole text and approves his translation. I feel like this is disrespectful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't want to see terms I don't understand when I use a program, or sometimes when I play a computer game, I don't want me or my friends to experience confusion and confusion. Sometimes I find that I have difficulty with applications that don't support my language, and I don't want other people to have that difficulty.
