Fairly OK
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to get started with Crowdin. Translating a single string takes a short a amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a danger of "Lego translation", where strings are joined together in unnatural sounding ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm helping out with translating a free software project.
Great TMS
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, technical and user support is incredibly responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with other tools need to be more stable. And also it would be great to be able to split/join segments in the editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage all our localization needs within Crowdin.
A Great Tool for Translating as a Team
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Crowdin for almost a year, and what I like the most is its neat and simple layout. Also, the translation memory and machine translation embedded in Crowdin can help save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike, if any. The only thing that comes to mind is the naviagtion - especifically, going back to where you were before - which may be a little confusing at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin is a great tool to help with software localization. Occasionally, I come across apps that appear to be translated into a language haphazardly by a non-native speaker of that language. By providing a platform to work on translations as a team, Crowdin solves this issue and allows the developers to benefit from the native language speakers' capabilities in translating their products.
Good Software. User experience could be improved as it is not user friendly or intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone can comment on strings.
Has good integrations.
Has good integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interphase sometimes is not intuitive, and you need to click around a lot to get to certain sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with serval integrations.
The communication between linguists and other stakeholders at the string level is good.

Very useful tool for translations
What do you like best about the product?
I've used these type of tools for translating FLOSS projects for a long time, and I find Crowdin very intuitive and easy to use, yet it feels made for power users. I've translated whole FAQ sections in a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still haven't found any issues using Crowdin. A while ago it was a little clunky, but the interface got a lot better and I like it more than other similar tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for translating mainly FLOSS projects. It's far easier with Crowdin than downloading itXML files e.g. and doing it in my PC. I can go through a lot of content and go back quickly to previous translations to mantain consistency.
Easy to use translation tool; some improvements could help to make it more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It offers you different options for translations for one string, you can choose what sounds best and also edit in case it's still not accurate. Good overview of progress of different articles, easy to keep track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes struggles with screenshots/links (had an issue where different links/screenshots got replaced with one specific one all the time and I had to be very careful in selecting the correct string).
If it is only person translating/reviewing articles, you still have to go in and approve all strings after you translated them. Sometimes not all strings get selected and then you have to go back in and find the ones that slipped through

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working with a software (DAM) and we are using CrowdIn as a translation tool for our knowlegde base. I am a native German speaker so I am responsible for the German translations and go inside the tool, check which articles need translating and then translate those. It takes workload off me in offering translations which I can choose from instead of me translating everything from scratch.
Very businesslike
What do you like best about the product?
It's a tremendous Free training platform to practice translations in your language and get practiced. I found Crowdin to be a great platform and boon for entry-level translators.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been associated with them for the past 3 years or something, used to complete the translation review the moment I receive. One of my LSP wanted to have a certificate for the level of my translation from some reputed companies I work with. I requested to TWB (Free service) which they provided immediately. I then requested to provide a similar certificate from CrowdIn (Free service) which they refused, they said they donot have any such system to issue any certificate.
I stopped spending my precious time with CRowdIn anymore. Sorry

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How and where to use the tags during the translation. When you practice the free translations, you will learn how to apply tags which makes the translation perfect.
Cool features and great support
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer I love the branch feature - it makes it easy to work with the translators on new features and have the translations ready at the same time as the feature. Before we had to deal with unintentionally deleted strings if another feature branch was pushed - now Crowdin takes care of it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
After implementing the branch feature I haven't anything I dislike about Crowdin - it's a great tool for translating all our systems in an easy way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our systems has to be in multiple languages and Crowdin makes it easy to accomplish this.
Translation via Crowdin
What do you like best about the product?
Typically, I use Crowdin to facilitate the translation of various applications and websites. Its translation page is user-friendly and provides access to additional features such as alternative translations and remarks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not currently have any negative experiences with Crowdin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not the project owner for any Crowdin project. But I can state that gathering translators on one platform is extremely useful.
A great way to manage our translations!
What do you like best about the product?
I would say that it is the langage translation propositions that are very accurate, I also think that this management system between admins and contributors is perfect!
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest nothing is bad maybe except the navigation between files that could perhaps be upgraded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding people to translate our app is pretty easy (volunteers), but we need a tool ready to be used by these people otherwise they'd forget and we'd lose them.
