I liked their marketplace! Automation is a must
What do you like best about the product?
I like that their support team is quick to respond, so they are always helpful. When I'm working on some new task I don't have to figure things out on my own and I'm not 57th in line to get connected to a real person, I'm connected right away with a human, not a bot.
GitHub integration was a game-changer. Also, screenshots - context helps a lot and proofreaders have less work to do. No one needs to explain context for one button to different translators, as they all see the same content.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if I ever used reports. Not that I dislike this feature, but I don't have a need to go there. I'm overall happy with our choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re automating our content localization
Great translation website
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way of managing translations on crowdin, its great and usefull tool to gather translation teams
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its too hard to connect with project managers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easy to find translation teams
Very powerful for small and big projects
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing in Crowdin is that it will help you to save some sentences that you want to always translate with the same words, just like a glossary. Also, it will provide default translations to help you to translate sentences faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The negative point is that you can't discuss with members in only one language. You have a global discussion for each sentences but shared across all the languages in the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin can easily help you to manage sentences and languages easily. It automatically contact the translators to tell them that new sentences are ready for translation.
An amazing translation platform
What do you like best about the product?
Its way to collaborate with other groups of people just makes it the best platform out there to translate projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Not gonna lie, Crowdin can be kinda hard at first to set it up, but with time you'll get the hand at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin is solving my problems with translation, and thanks to it now i do it in a better way.
Must have from the very beginning of an app development
What do you like best about the product?
We're using Crowdin for an app (server+ios+android) with 45 languages, and it streamlines our localization processes. I advise you to review the Crowdin plugins directory to find the needed connector. We personally use Figma, Google Sheets, eSputnik plugins and it saves us a huge amount of time, and with high-quality Google Translate API we're receiving first localization samples in minutes, not days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't name bas things. The support team is very responsive, they can do some small development to meed your needs and have reasonable pricing. Highly recommended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile apps and related content localization from various formats and sources.
The translation environment that could
What do you like best about the product?
What I found most helpful on CrowdIn was the easy setup of plugins and integrations.
As a longtime user of 'heavy' TEnTs such as MemoQ and Trados Studio, the readily available plugins and integrations on CrowdIn and the relatively easy setup truly enabled us to be agile with shorter turnaround.

What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike, or better yet, what was not working perfectly, was the black box setup of specific plugins and integrations.
Admittedly, it 'feels' DevOps-oriented, which is great for our IT and startup customers but can be challenging to the less tech-savvy LSP localization engineer.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrowdIn helped us with the ever-growing requests for agile localization projects with an ever-shrinking turnaround.
For example, the ability to set up an integration with WPML on WordPress in a matter of minutes and have content ready for localization on the same day is the much sought-after Holy Grail.
The ease with which customers' developers and product teams can push texts for translation in the morning and build the translated app by evening is the selling ticket.

Crowdin for small or large projects
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is that Crowdin is easy to understand for users and you can quickly translate your projects using the integrations. If you have any problems or questions, you can get quick help from support.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like the most is that if you exceed limits your project will be locked. If you then adjust everything to be under your limits again, your project will not be unlocked. You have to contact the Crowdin support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps us to provide the right translation for our websites in different languages. Since we can't speak all languages, Crowdin allows us to get our users on board to help us with the translation.
Finally, a user-friendly platform for a translator!
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendliness, many features that are absolutely necessary for productive work and easy workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
As expected, implementing new features and bug fixes can take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contradictory to other CAT-tools, Crowdin ensures you never lose your progress and see your team's activity. It's much easier to work in big groups on the same project without losing the glossary and general style.
Great tool to make your software accessible to more people around the globe
What do you like best about the product?
I am running an open-source project, and for non-tech users, it's quite complicated to contribute directly to GitHub, as they have to understand the project structure and pull requests.
Crowdin allows me to add context screenshots of how some prompts are used in the software, which greatly improves translation.
Thanks to Crowdin, I've got suggestions from the community for new languages: within a few months, I've used it, and I've already released Japanese and Polish versions, as well as received several improvements for wording, which were made due to the lack of context.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing grid is very stiff. While there's a generous free version, it gets quite expensive as soon as you want to set up new integrations or increase the word limit. There are many features that I would consider optional for small projects like mine, but they're included in the basic plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows me to bring my project to the attention of new audiences around the globe and makes it easier to work on translation compared to other software solutions like BabelEdit, and much easier compared to direct localization files editing.
Nice tool for reviewing translations
What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin was introduced within my organization to make the workflow of translations into several languages smoother. It helped us a lot in terms of collaboration. I like the e-mail notifications with new strings to translate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to get enough context in order to pick the most appropriate translation. It would be nice to be able to embedd visuals of the software interface with hints what sections have to be translated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps us cordinating the translation and proofreading process. Everything is tracked and we are able to reach a higher level of consistency.
