Best Softare Translation Choice
What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin now has a very good integration with AI tools, and we can put a lot of customization in AI settings, such as customized prompt and self-hosted proxy. These help us expand the language coverage to those languages rarely supported by our community.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, Gemini API in Crowdin settings only support Google Cloud one's. If Gemini AI Studio can be supported, that will be a huge update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helped me implement localized translation for my C# application. They have very good compatibility. After setting up the project for the first time, I almost no longer have to do any more settings. The project has been ongoing for more than a year and there have been no problems.
Exactly what you need for an early stage product
What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin was extremely easy to setup and made adding localization to our core products a very simple task. The wide range of integrations support make it very quick to embed in our work flows and apps
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations might not be maintained by Crowdin themselves, and support can be lacking. Recommend using only the simplest and most lean workflows and integrations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling easy localisation for our products. As a pre-seed organisation, we need quick, easy and reliable solutions that we can easily plug together and Crowdin offers just that
Super easy to implement and cost-effective translation
What do you like best about the product?
Since we integrated Crowdin into our build flow, translating the client-facing site has been a doddle. We can add more languages as we go; quickly amend individual phrases should the need arise and the pricing has scaled fairly as we've grown.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing springs to mind. We really enjoy using Crowdin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to provide our end users with the ability to translate the platform into other languages as we're a global company.
Using Crowd-in's computer-assisted translation makes it so easy.

7 years of commitment
What do you like best about the product?
The machine translations, memory of deleted translations, comparison with other languages, keyboard shortcuts, snappy customer support, simple organized UI and UX that offers ease of management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Increased load times over the years, confusion with variables over the translation, lack of cross-checking users with their translations via Details card, machine translation suggestions can at times be the exact same, the color change over approved and translated strings, notifications should be sectioned into types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The website managed by my team guides people towards learning software skills that aids them into creating their own applications from their daily entertainment hardware. However, instructing our visitors into applying these steps can be a challenge when faced with a global audience. Crowdin has our backs, in that it offers a place for our dedicated userbase to offer a hand and translate our guides, while ensuring that said translations are of the most accurate quality. As our sites change and update over time, so does Crowdin let us accomodate said changes for our translators.
Easy-to-use translation management tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that always speeds up the process is being able to filter in so many ways. Members, activity by user, date, approved v non-approved strings. It's great to have such variety as I don't always want to filter in the same way. The multi-language display is handy when I'm making updates to strings.
Customer support is very helpful, thought at times it takes a long time to get a reply, almost always my problem is resolved.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pre-translate feature is not as accurate as I'd like it to be. In my opinion, it would be great if I could deactivate it in some languages (where I have an in-house translator) and keep it active for those languages where I use external agencies to review content.
It takes a long time to load results sometimes.
The translation history does not store different versions of the source language text. Other tools I have used keep a record of all the changes (and date stamp). Sometimes it is necessary to revert to the earlier content, or just to keep track of the evolution of the content, and lacking this information means I have to record this information in another place - therefore time-consuming.

Now I have all my language repositories in one place - and could easily add another language if we decided to add that to our market. Previously we had scores of documentation and spreadsheets for each language. Previously it was time-consuming to locate specific text. Now, If I am uncertain of how we've translated a term or a word, I can easily search for it. Before it was hard to keep track of comments related to content - now we can message and keep that information directly next to the source string.
Very good for the translation part, still need some improvements in the integration part
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use collaborators for translating different languages at the same time
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite clanky with the integration with repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In this way the translation of our software is not a responsibility of the IT team.
Crowdin makes it easier for me and my translators to handle our app's i18n requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Their support is incredibly responsive. Whenever I required their assistance, I got a first reply within 5 minutes and my problem was solved immediatly. Their architecture and integrations make it easy to adapt exiting or new projects. Collaboration is also key. I like the fact that they provide expert translators for a fee or that you can invite your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not very intuitive sometimes and you do need to click here and there until you find what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as a one-stop solution for my i18n management. It helps me keeping all our translations in sync and aligned. It facilitates non-technical people contributing into our projects as translators.
Complete and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Our company is a small software house that utilizes Crowding to effectively manage translations on our React project. The seamless integration with GitHub simplifies the process and ensures a worry-free experience. Although the software is extensive, it is user-friendly and easy to grasp. Initially, we utilize the free tier for starting projects and then upgrade to the professional pricing as the projects gain momentum. One feature that stands out to us is the role attribution, which allows us to limit access for different user roles such as managers, developers, translators, and proof-readers. This enables us to share a link with our clients, empowering them to handle specific business translations. This not only streamlines communication but also minimizes unnecessary back-and-forth exchanges with the client.
We are using this service quite often especially on projects that are past the MVP phase and start getting an active user base to upgrade the translations base on user feedback.
Really important to note that their customer support is maybe one of the most reactive I've ever experienced (less than a minute to answer and constructive help provided under 15 mins.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the amount of feature can be a bit overwehlming. But overall no big drawbacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to interact with the codebase to handle the translations. Add automatic quality Machine translations. Reduce the interactions with the clients when it come to translations.
One of the accessible CAT tools around.
What do you like best about the product?
Well. Customer support has changed. They respond from the get go and are clear about what they want, Screen shots and so on. You will no longer see them as disorganized.
What do you dislike about the product?
More accessibility. It hasn't improved since the review. In fact, it has worsened as I can no longer see Machine Translation or Translation Memory suggestions with my Screen Reader, so I translate manually
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think that its accessability is helping me find work to translate. The fact that many developers are using Crowdin to translate their software is a plus for me because this means I can reach out and translate for them if they need my native language. Most CAT Tools which exist aren't accessible with the blind except web based ones and even accessible ones aren't so many.
