It's easy to pick up and learn quickly, so it can be used by developers and non-technical people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily so simple to check for missing translations and implement same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our progress with translations.

A reliable modern solution for multilingual support in your product.

  • March 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In general – highly recommended this product!

1. First of all, it offers a wide range of plugins and supports various localization workflows with highly flexible configuration options.
2. Email localization is fully supported.
3. Multiple translation methods are available — from machine translation to AI-powered tools (you can even connect your own API key and use your preferred AI provider account).
4. Clear and transparent user roles — Owner, Developer, Reviewer — everything is organized intuitively.
5. The pre-translate option significantly speeds up the initial translation process, allowing you to focus on reviewing and refining afterward.
6. Built-in spell check and smart suggestions help with jargon, context-specific language, and more.
7. Easy to implementation.
8. Easy to integration.
9. Good customer support, demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. It’s clear that the system is evolving rapidly, so some aspects of the UX may raise questions — nothing critical, but noticeable.
2. There’s occasionally a lag in request processing, and at times it’s unclear what process is currently running. Once you understand how it works, it’s fine, but before that, it can feel a bit confusing.
3. Saved translations sometimes get replaced by older versions. You can fix this by manually approving the correct version and deleting the outdated one — this method works 100%. Until we figured that out, it caused some frustration.
4. There’s a lack of warnings or explanations about the consequences of certain actions, especially in areas where there could be risks with keys.
5. Pricing was a bit confusing at first — specifically, how hosted words are counted. This should be explained more clearly and made easier to find in the documentation or interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin help to quick implemented translation management tool for our:
1. website
2. web-app
3. emails

Provides our translation team autonomy to translate our software without requiring developer time

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Crowdin is the ability to integrate it into all our different systems, and once integrated, the translators have full autonomy to translate everything.

Integration was straightforward and we have had no need to revisit it or make any changes.

All language changes made are automatically synced to Crowdin, and the translators are notified when additional things need to be translated.

We use it almost every day, for translation of marketing emails and products.

Without Crowdin, the whole translation process was very complicated, with lots of back and forth between translators and developers. It has saved us a huge amount of time and effort. We wouldn't be able to scale the translation of our products without it. It is one of the best products we use within the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some odd UI quirks. For example, in the Customer.io integration, there is a campaign folder called Unfinished Checkout, and inside are email-1, email-2, etc.

When using the search to find the Unfinished Checkout folder, the folder is then displayed as empty, because none of the emails inside match the search term, and so they cannot be selected.

This essentially renders the search useless. You have to delete the search term and then scroll to the folder to select the emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of translating our marketing emails, software products and sales pages.

Without Crowdin, the whole translation process was very complicated, with lots of back and forth between translators and developers. It has saved us a huge amount of time and effort. It has allowed us to scale the translation of our products into multiple languages.

Efficient and Well-Structured Translation Platform

  • March 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin provides a well-structured and intuitive UI that makes managing translations easy. The combination of automated translations and contributions from native speakers ensures high-quality results while speeding up the localization process. The workflow is seamless, allowing us to organize and review translations efficiently, making it a great tool for scaling our platform internationally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Crowdin mismanages translation keys, which can cause issues in the final implementation. While this doesn’t happen often, it requires manual intervention to fix, which can be time-consuming. Other than that, the platform generally works smoothly and reliably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps us sync with native-speaking experts to ensure high-quality translations while also enabling us to track progress in real time. This structured approach ensures that nothing is overlooked and that all content is translated properly, ultimately improving the user experience for our international customers.

A very pleasing experience

  • March 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Translation Memory and Glossary are unreal tools in everyday translation!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably, the process of learning API was a bit hard for me, but I think that's more about personal preferences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time it takes to navigate through translation is significantly reduced by using Crowdin, and its provided tools.

Crowdin has been really helpful for our team!

  • March 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In the past all our translations had to go through developers. This often resulted in typos and just took a lot of extra time. Since we started using Crowdin, the PO has been able to change translations whenever needed, which has saved everyone's time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Duplicate key handling. We have had to think of some workarounds in cases where the translation is different but the nested key is the same as an earlier one, because Crowdin automatically uses the existing translation. This could also be a user-problem, since we are still new to Crowdin and still partly figuring it out. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin is solving our earlier problem of developers having to write translation strings themselves. Developers also had to copy and paste existing translations so that non-developers could see and suggest changes to them. Now it's easy for non-developers to see and update translations on Crowdin.

A useful tool for localization purposes in apps

  • March 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The "new" AI feature is helping a lot when you don't have a glossar set up, you can manage a multitude of languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a "simple" translator of different app versions (languages) I find it difficult to navigate the different strings and layers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 2 OS and 15 languages to manage for our apps. Crowdin helps us with the localization of those apps.

User friendly and easy to integrate into the development worflow

  • March 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The translation user interface is easy for non-technical users, it was very easy to start using Crowdin and to integrate it with our development workflow. We use it daily and it's a great addition and simplification of our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support for non-technical/dev files (like PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is a bit limited, it's usable, but not as good as with development files, as users only see the extracted text and may have a hard time to understand the context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synchronizes the work of multiple traslators working on the user interface of our application.

Convenient localization platform

  • March 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin allows us to easily connect internationalization managers, third-party translators and developers.
As a developer, I liked the APIs for a complete pipeline for building and exporting localizations to mobile projects - both iOS and Android.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't like quality of recently introduced AI translation assistant. After some experimentation, decided to stay away from this feature for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a tool to connect localization experts and developers.
