Effortless Onboarding and Time-Saving for Kubernetes Monitoring

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Komodor is really easy to onboard. I've seen many monitoring tools in the past but this one shines in its ability to swiftly make a common developer be much more knowledgeable about his usage in Kubernetes, let alone the time it saves them and for the DevOps in troubleshooting.
RBAC management is great as well, Integrations and specifically the option to control it via TF/TG.
And lastly, great customer support!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the drift analysis would be more adaptable to find RCAs.
Also, the Klaudia AI seems to not take too much previous context into it's replies, causing it to loop back to irrelevant reasons for failures and missing the real issue (in that case, some additional prompting and you can to the actual RCA)
Cost optimization looks really promising but it's not fit for any K8s application. It must be resilient enough to withstand the infra changes that the cost-optimization tools want to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RCA assistance for Devops and developers
Cost overview and optimization paths
Versioning of deployed charts and comparison
Better RBAC control than via AWS EKS IAM.
K8s clusters inventory

  • November 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Komodor effectively assists in the troubleshooting in POD executions, and provides significant help with its integrated AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a great tool, though its costs are higher than those of other options available on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Komodor is a valuable tool for efficiently addressing problems when incidents occur or when troubleshooting issues arise on the platform where I work. It has made the process of resolving such challenges much more manageable.

Komodor is great for leaner k8s teams

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Komodor serves as an excellent single pane of glass for Kubernetes. In our large environment, which includes over 1,000 nodes and 20,000 pods, it has significantly reduced the time needed to find root causes. My team has become more productive and can proactively address issues before they turn into incidents, thanks to Komodor.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was initially critical of their Cost Optimization features, but fortunately, they have made improvements. Now, I am able to get real value from them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Komodor has significantly helped us address incidents more efficiently. With their AI analysis tools, our mean time to resolution (MTTR) has dropped from several hours to just a few minutes.

Komdoor review as a Kubernetes admin

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly interface.
Users with little knowledge had an easy way of querying Kubernetes object in a graphical interface.
Basic metrics are easy to query.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to visualizing Kubernetes object a lot of similar functionality is also offered by free tools such as Headlamp and OpenLens.
For monitoring information we would still require our Prometheus / Grafana stack for our specific dashboarding / historical queries. We would prefer means of providing a single pane of glass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of non-technical user that need to query information inside the Kubernetes cluster.
Komodor provided an intuitive way to do that.

Making managing production deployments easy

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly find problems amongst hundreds or thousands of running containers. The AI-assisted troubleshooting tool is very useful, and can quickly scan logs and find the root cause of problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for a service amongst lots of similarly named services is not as easy as I would like. If I have a lot of copies of the same service in different environments, then sometimes the search doesn't immediately bring back exactly what I want, especially if I'm not sure of the exact name of the k8s namespace or environment where the service lives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring to confirm everything is working after an upgrade is easy, as is identifying problems if something goes wrong.

Komodor Gives Valuable Insight into our Clusters

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having a UI to explore kubernetes resources is nice. It has also been helpful in troubleshooting. Moreover, it gives some of our developers the ownership to triage their own issues without needing to rope in SRE.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it lacks detail that is available in kubectl.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Container management and cost savings have been huge. Also being able to see some basic metrics at a glance is nice. The AI as also helped us solve a few issues.

Smooth Setup, Effective Monitoring UI

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Komodor's easy setup process and its user-friendly interface, which simplifies monitoring services in my Kubernetes clusters. The GUI is helpful, making it straightforward to browse and monitor deployments and resources at a glance. I also value the ability to open a shell in any running Kubernetes pod without relying on the CLI, streamlining the process further. Komodor's features make retrieving metrics and monitoring status efficient and manageable, contributing greatly to my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Komodor could be a bit snappier in its performance. Additionally, it lacks the functionality to persist logs for pods that have already been deleted for a certain amount of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Komodor allows me to easily monitor and retrieve metrics for Kubernetes deployments, offering a UI to view services and resources, which enhances flexibility over just using the Kubernetes API.

Reliable Monitoring That Makes Kubernetes Easier, With Room to Grow

  • October 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Komodor is its stability and the accuracy of the information it provides about running services. It gives me confidence that what I’m seeing reflects the real state of our system. The intuitive UI also makes it easier to monitor services without getting lost in unnecessary details, which really helps my team stay efficient.
Implementation was straightforward, and while it took some time for the team to get comfortable with all the features, once learned, it became an important part of our daily workflow—we now use it frequently to ensure service stability.
Customer support has been responsive whenever we reached out, which makes the adoption process smoother. The platform offers a wide range of features, and the stability combined with accurate service information is its strongest advantage. Integration with our existing setup was fairly simple, and it fit into our toolchain without much friction.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Komodor is that while the UI is intuitive, it can feel a bit cluttered and could be simplified for faster navigation. Debugging is also challenging at times, as it takes effort to drill down into issues quickly. Additionally, it would be very helpful to have more customizable dashboards and better personalization options tailored to each team’s needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Komodor helps solve the challenge of monitoring and understanding what’s happening across our Kubernetes services. It gives clear visibility into the health and status of running services, which reduces guesswork and helps my team respond faster to issues. By providing accurate and stable information in real time, it allows us to maintain service reliability and minimize downtime, ultimately saving both time and effort in managing complex environments.

Great tool to manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes with top notch AI

  • October 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable feature for us is the ability to view logs, events, deployments, and most Kubernetes resources from multiple clusters all in a single location. This centralized perspective, combined with AI that analyzes issues, reviews logs and events, identifies root causes, and suggests solutions, has saved us a significant amount of time. Our developers who aren't familiar with Kubernetes especially appreciate being able to restart deployments directly from the UI rather than relying on the CLI. Overall, it's extremely helpful for both admins and developers who may not be Kubernetes experts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since they offer a SaaS product, on-premises installation is not an option. While this setup is less than ideal from a security standpoint, I do appreciate that they provide strong RBAC controls for managing user permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Komodor has effectively addressed our visibility challenges within our clusters. With its primary dashboard, we can quickly identify any issues as they arise. The platform also provides notifications, alerting us to problems in real time. When an issue occurs, we have the ability to drill down for detailed information, allowing us to pinpoint the exact nature of the problem—whether it’s related to the cluster itself, a deployment, a pod, or another component. Having all this information centralized saves us a significant amount of time, as we no longer need to rely on the CLI to check events, review logs, or execute commands within pods. Another key advantage of Komodor is that it empowers administrators who are not Kubernetes experts to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot clusters without needing deep expertise. Additionally, it enables developers to debug their own applications independently, reducing the need for support.

A user experience that allows for a broad understanding of production

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User experience, everything is very clear about what is where, there are colors that indicate the problem and can be easily identified. Correct identification of alerts in real time, easy finding of logs and identification of faults in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I know, the cost is high. I think that in the AI era, more conclusions can be given about malfunctions in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fault detection. Understanding the system status in real time.
