What do you like best about the product?
Having a fully distributed team and no office, Twingate allows us to protect our cloud infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing negative to report. There are currently no changes we would request to make
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamless authentication to log in and use Twingate for our end-users. Ease of creation when it comes to our cloud connections.

I tried a bunch. This is the best.

- Would prefer if their connector AWS AMIs were CIS level 2 out of the box. Hopefully coming soon.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A much better mousetrap. Better user/group/resource management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It is better than whatever you are using.
Great Zero Trust solution
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of configuration & usage from the admin standpoint. Full SAML/SCIM integration with OneLogin. Twingate team have been very communicative to our needs and put our suggestions into place in their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small admin-based annoyances that haven't been resolved as of yet. For example when using SCIM we're unable to remove groups that have been imported in error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need for VPN that is regulated at the port level for our users has been a considerable benefit. We transitioned all our staff away from standard VPN service with only minor user interruption.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, flexibility in configuration, and the design itself - very innovative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any downsides; however, the security of the company is paramount. I can't imagine what a breach could do to the customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to various internal and external resources without poking firewall holes or implementing allowlists.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to plan a good location for the VPN connectors to be used for as many internal resources you need to expose as possible.

The VPN is invisible no open poorts needed its also flexible you are in control over what resources are available over the vpn.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is bit on the high side compared to traditional vpns but on the other hand Twingate offers possibilities that are just not available when using a traditional vpn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A very secure VPN that combines all our resources in seprate networks into one VPN without us having to invest a lot of time during the setup. Its simple felexible and secure.
Setup and product is quick to set up, easy to manage, and the user experience is amazing.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything from the setup for the server-side piece to the client interface is easy to set up and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
An app for android/iOS would be nice to manage the users and connections. Doing it from the phone browser works, but a native app would be welcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we have solved is dealing with contractors that need to access pieces of our network without giving them AD credentials and users. Being able to assign a user a specific resource group from the console is easy to manage.
Excellent, better than a VPN any day!
What do you like best about the product?
We originally tried VPN providers but we found our ISP (Virgin Media) was constantly throttling our download. With Twingate we do not experience any throttling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connector requires upgrading frequently, which is a little annoying!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have moved to a completely remote working environment and could no longer rely on our office IP address to restrict access to our applications. By connecting to Twingate we can still control access to our application through an accepted list of IP addresses.

Very easy to use the software, from connecting to it and having it run in the background. It's so fast I even forget that it's running

Connecting to a remote server in the office. It makes working from home a breeze

What do you like best about the product?
Fine and centralized profile assignement of ACL. It's easy to have a single view of access rules. We integrate Twingate with our existing Linux based server infrastructure very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't like the inability to activate an account outside the linked user directory. At the moment only one user directory can be linked (es: Google or Okta) and we cannot add an external people and give him access to a specif internal system, typical case when a contractor is working with us. Creating a "fake user" (or a generic proxy user) on the Directory doesn't seems a good option for us. Missing integration with Jumpcloud Cloud directory System.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem to access from "insecure" network our internal systems, having a full control of who access what. Over an internal or extenal VPN access we have better control of resource definitions: IP and ports and who can access it. A complete access logging log makes accounting and reporting very easy.
