Simple and accessible UI
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very transparent with the user. All the most essential information is displayed upfront and grabs the user's attention. The functionality is also a reflection of this and is easy on admins. The documentation is simple. As someone who isn't well versed in the terminology, I understood with a bit of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version of Twingate. Unfortunately, I have just not been able to get it to work even after multiple updates. Once I sign, I can view a domain that I've set up behind Twingate, but if I refresh the page, I will lose viewing access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twingate allows us to set up staging and production environments for our org easily. We are constantly setting up new domains, and this is a fast process with Twingate - this allows up to speed up onboarding and prioritize other tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a simple vpn solution, use twingate.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy is to deploy the twingate connector (I use the docker container on an ec2 instance) and to create the tunnels to my subnets. I've used the openvpn in the past, but I had some issues running it on mac devices. Twingate works well on all devices (Linux, Windows, Mac, Android and iOS)

I'm using Twingate on the company I work for since March 2021 and so for there's nothing I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm securing my AWS resources like instances, databases, and even some static internal websites, so I can say it's helping me for the purpose I want.
Twingate fits our needs like a glove
What do you like best about the product?
We needed a solution to limit resource access that would also be managed and easy to use.
We use it as part of our cloud-based architecture, and it checks all the boxes. Extremely easy to use, providing access to specific endpoints without giving too much access to other parts of the network.
It was surprisingly easy to set up and start using it, and the fact that it also syncs with our GSuite meant that beyond the initial set up it was also a breeze.

What do you dislike about the product?
It might be weird to say so, but there isn't one thing that I don't like about Twingate. It does exactly what it claims and does it great.

We needed to limit access to specific production resources, as well as give access to resources sitting in a private cloud network.
The fact that it can do both effortlessly and as a managed service made it a winning choice.

Secure for our database access
What do you like best about the product?
Twingate is super easy to setup and starts running.
After the service is started, all connections to the database are seamless and provide an easy way to manage permissions between users and databases without sharing any sensible data.
They also have a Linux client, which is very appreciated.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think anything is missing; I like how fast and straightforward the client is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting and managing permissions between the team and different databases along the environments was annoying because we needed to remove and add separate IP addresses to the whitelist every time developer's IPs were changing.
Because we work with multiple databases, it was difficult to remember where to remove access credentials when people's permissions were changing.

Efficient, simple, and secure. It just works!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy to set it up. The dashboard is very intuitive and allows fine control of permission and access of the resources in the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
For those that have been hosting VPN and already have a big IT team to manage it, it might be harder to convince people to pay more to switch, especially in the developing country
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing multiple resources from different sites. Much easier now. It used to need an account for each site, and now it's just 1.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's rare to see that something that used to require a CCNA staff to set up and maintain can now handle by people with minimal experience.
Easy, Reliable & Great Pricing
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, reliability and a very good price considering what you get. Twingate is very beginner friendly, with an easy-to-use Linux script that can be installed within minutes. We needed a same day solution as our previous supplier let us down.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to say in regards to negative comments about Twingate, as i stated above, the easy of use and beginner friendliness make it an easy and effective solution for our business needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our sales team are remotely stationed, as they travel across the uk selling our product. Twingate provides a solution that allows those salespeople to connect to our server.
The future of remote access!
What do you like best about the product?
Twingate is easy to deploy, fast, secure, and more stable than traditional client VPN. I truly believe that Twingate represents the future of remote access and client VPN solutions will soon become a thing of the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Twingate is still a fairly new/bleeding edge technology and I envision it will mature a lot in the near future. I don't even really consider that as a negative or something to dislike, more of a fact. Twingate as it is now is amazing and I know it's just going to keep getting better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete replacement of client VPN. Increasing security. Increasing productivity by eliminating consistent issues that come with client vpn.
Great and easy solution to facilitate connectivity while protecting systems
What do you like best about the product?
Twingate facilitates secure connectivity from any device to any system without firewall rules and can be set up in minutes. It allows me to work around licensing restrictions that exist with standard VPN solutions with a result that's more secure. This also means that remote workers have access to the same resources as they do from the office and there's no longer a requirement to establish a VPN tunnel to setup a new office.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have an existing investment in a DNS protection product that is incompatible with Twingate. I don't have a great solution to leverage both products together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm primarily solving for connectivity to cloud resources for our team, but this also allows IT access to systems with more restrictive policies than we previously had in place.

the fact that id does not interfere with other none-intended connections (like other domains, other ports, etc)

it has some issues with docker containers since those containers are running inside their own network

Setup is super easy and it's reliable and so fun to use.

I'd be happy to see more analytics capabilities and alerts on our usage. Though I know it's a feature in progress so worth the wait. They are delivering on their promises and moving fast through new features.

It solves the need to manage VPN services and users myself. Solved all the issues we had with bad connections from clients.
