Efficient PIM for large amounts of data
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of using Pimberly are that it is helpful in storing large amounts of product information in one product ID, I'm able to add any attributes into the Product IDs to help with enriching products.
I've also been able to create new schemas, e.g. size guides, and link those with the Product ID's.
Overall I find Pimberly really easy to use, and use it on a daily basis, this could be to export data for sales analysis or importing data to make a product more enriched.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say the only downside to Pimberly is that we're unable to lock specific attributes, with so many people having access to Pimberly, and the information feeding directly to the side, it would be benifical if we were able to lock specific attributes so only certain people are able to edit them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a business, we're able to store all product information in one place, and we're able to export this data when needed. Pimberly feeds directly to sites, so we're able to make any changes to product information easily enough by editing inside Pimberly.
Excellent Product and Support
What do you like best about the product?
Pimberly have a fantastic support team that a rapid at responding to and resolving issues. The team are always on hand for technical questions, be that via email, phone or video call - always providing information in the detail required for a successful knowledge transfer to ensure the client can achieve their technical goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help guides are now somewhat outdated, especially since there has been a huge new UI release - which can make navigating through some areas of the products a fair bit more challenging. I believe this is being updated and will be rolled in the near future, so I am eagerly anticipating this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimberly gives us the capability of storing large amounts of product data and organising the data for enrichment along with the correct assets. Product data can then be pushed to the multiple channels that need to leverage the data for various business needs, such as In-store till systems; Websites; Size guides; Ad-hoc data extraction; and Audits.

Some terminology/nomenclatre is a little baffling - all very logical and necessary, but you need to read before diving in.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes the UI is a little clunkly, can be displaying data incorrectly until a refresh has been conducted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We only have a small team, so it allows for easy bulk editing of product data, with record of what is still outstanding to be completed. The lifecycles help to designate responsibilities to our team, making sure the appropriate people know what they are responsible for completing.
Set up and implementation of Pimberly
What do you like best about the product?
It is a a powerful tool that allows us to centralise and standardise our data which greatly helps our business intelligence.
The support we have received has also been fantastic with helpful, knowledgable people on hand when we have needed them.
It also allows us to centralise data and then perform data validations upon this data to ensure that we are putting the most accurate and consistent data out to our systems.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little fiddly to undo something if changes are required. I believe this is a limitation of MongoDB but some things have to be deleted and recreated entirely when it would be nice to edit the original so that you don't have to recreate any subsidiary processes that sit underneath them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the primary drivers for implementing Pimberly is to have consistent data across our various systems as this is currently a big issue in our business. It is also to help reduce the time taken to raise new products as by centralising the process in Pimberly it only needs to be done once as opposed to multiple times by multiple departments as it is currently. It also provides a centralised storage solution for our images

Setting up the FTP required to import data was a bit daunting and confusing to those without knowledge of such things.
