Awesome MFA Solution
What do you like best about the product?
It helps us actually protect our internal environment with MFA and not just interactive logins, but PSExec, PS and more as opposed to solutions like DUO that only can protect interactive logins and require to be installed on every workstation to be protected. It's great we can utilize our existing Azure MFA setup we have in place and not require users to download and configure yet another MFA app. And the fact we only have to install on our DC and not every workstation is amazing. Overall it's been a great purchase and are looking forward to them hopefully continuing to develop and refine things.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard and interface look great, but while it has good looks, there really isn't any actual functionality behind it. Trying to investigate threats or incidents results in clicking yourself in a circle trying to find any relevant information on said specific threat/incident. They have the ability to filter, but it would be nice for them to take you right to the pieces of the log when you clicked.
The workflows on the interface could also be more efficient; there is a lot of good information presented, but you can't click on it to be taken to more information or even take action to mark something as a "false positive", so to speak. You have to go to a completely different page and find that account and mark it there.
They could also be a little more descript in their flagging of events. We have had users get flagged as HIGH or CRITICAL risk but only have a single "Abnormal Authentication" risk indicator. What does that mean, and why did they jump to critical? It would be nice to know that information so we can work to educate or remediate if it's a behavior we can adjust with the user or a configuration change we need to make.
Finally, the PoC and implementation weren't the greatest, I think we had a new guy, but we ended up having some issues that ended up being a software bug that required an update.

Being able to protect our servers and privileged accounts with MFA not only for interactive logins but CMD, PS, PSExec and more without having to deploy an agent to every single server/workstation.

The most helpful thing is that you can see every single auth with the ad,and make it look simple and engaging.

What do you like best about the product?
Silverfort is helping us to add an additional layer of security when accessing our resources to meet our security requirements. The project team have worked closely with us, and still is, to achieve our objectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that we dislike. The service is intuitive and easy to use - any queries we have had had have been quickly answered by the team!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Silverfort provides MFA when accessing systems, such as via Remote Desktop, which was our first requirement. We are adding MFA and other additional security measures to other login/access types.

What do you like best about the product?
We've implemented on-prem MFA login, Service account protection and RADIUS capabilies in a straightforward and admin-friendly way, it also provides good security insights

It could be nice whether version upgrading could be downloaded and triggered from the admin console
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provided a good alternative when we wanted to replace smartcard as second factor authentication
Versatile Multi-Factor Authentication deployment.
What do you like best about the product?
Before I speak a little more about it, the best thing about this is the support. This tool is flexible in implementing Multi-Factor Authentication in several different ways. You can set it up for Remote Desktop, VPN, on-site login and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The App has been updated to relieve the one difficulty we had initially. Previously the app had to be uninstalled from a user's phone if you wanted to remove an account. Now it's possible to do it right from the app. The only challenge we have now is getting our users to let us know when they've purchased a new phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Silverfort we are now able to easily implement Multi-Factor Authentication in areas we previously did not have a way to do so. This helps by adding a layer of security requiring more than just a password.

What do you like best about the product?
On our search to build a more secure environment we came across Silverfort. Reached out to them to have a demo and eventually purchased the solution. After purchasing Silverfort has helped us through every step of the way from implementation, support, and upgrades. We can reach out to them any time we have issues, any time we have questions they are on top of it. I look forward to future enhancements they release. This product no doubt makes us more secure than we were ever before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the mobile app was a little more modern looking, had an import feature from other MFA applications, and I wish the solution was able to email the IT team upon detecting an anomaly. I also wish they were on DIR so that other Government entities could take advantage of this solution. The pricing is higher than what most would expect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are able to solve the problem of malicious traffic traversing the network. They are also giving us great insight into service accounts as we did not have this ability before.
Unique & Powerfull Product
What do you like best about the product?
Very strong authentication tool enabling MFA within the network. Its adaptive capability and easy to use policy management let the customer decide how to best use the product

No real issues, the few issues that come up were very quickly resolved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important issue is protecting sensitive assets on the network, high profile users and admins, servers and resources with critical information. Also adding MFA in cases it was impossible or very hard int he past.
Tested as a potential addition to a suite of products offered to Government and Commercial customers

Its implementation is relatively simple. Made easy by Silverfort's custom scripting to integrate to a customer landscape. Dashboards are clean and concise.
Syslog shipping makes it easy to collect LDAP and KRBGT events across an enterprise for later investigation and/or real time monitoring with a SIEM.
Silverfort's turnaround time from new idea to feature is rather impressive.
Testing against "Pass the Hash" attacks was thwarted every time. And most man-in-the-middle attacks as well. Two attacks other 2FA solutions fall short on more times than not.

What do you dislike about the product?
If this were to be used on a SOC floor, of some sort, there is a limitation on defining granular permission per Silverfort User. This feature is more geared towards case management and segregation of visibility and to their credit Silverfort never advertised it. Its more of my personal "...like to have...". RADIUS capability is also another nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing 2FA solutions for customers when it comes to: Client-to-Site VPN connections, ESXi management access, Administrator level sign-on, and SOC analyst sign-on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand why you or your company are looking for a 2FA solution. Meaning know what type attack your attempting to mitigate. There are many 2FA solutions but, sadly, many that can be circumvented.
Easy and effective MFA solution- highly recommended
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I was able to install it very quickly in several hours without having to use agents. It was much easier than other MFA solutions I saw in demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real complaints come to the top of my mind. I had a good experience with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to implement MFA across my network very easily without much of a footprint.
We were searching for an MFA tool for a while and they all seemed quite bulky, as opposed to Silverfort's solution which was very light and easy to implement.
