Great Linking Features, But Needs Better Presentation Abilities
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to link together workbooks and press releases. It ensures that our press releases have the correct numbers in them
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could integrate Workiva directly with word or power point. I do not love the presentation/slides features in Workiva and being able to still use the linkability of our reporting into presentations in powerpoint would be great

Primarily Reporting being consistent
Efficient Real-Time Collaboration, But Needs Better PDF Export Options
What do you like best about the product?
Love the real-time ability for my team to work on reports. Easy to track all comments. Assignments make it easier than tracking folks down individually or by email. Its saving time and more efficient. Our reporting will be so much easier than in years past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some folks like our fancy, laid out and polished reports. Still have the need for a one-page or PDF for the website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to have to run after 20 different people to track down data each year. Not Workiva does it for me and I dont have to manage 100 different email conversations or updated data sheet. Its all in one place. I have more time to focus on quality work and not task mastering and monitoring.
Easy to Use, Feature-Rich Reporting—Great Support but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use and manage. It provides useful tools for various reporting needs. Overall, the platform helps teams collaborate and achieve reporting goals with more ease than other software/platforms. It is quick and easy to learn the general features and tools, and for the more in-depth features there are a multitude of help articles and resources available to refer to.
Generally, the platform is quick to implement and add depending on the features selected to use (data connections may take more time). It is easy to get assistance when there are questions as each Company is assigned a customer success manager that they can reach out directly to, as well as 24/7 other customer support access.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is a more expensive platform to use than other reporting solutions. While the customer success teams can be a great source of information and assistance, they are limited on what they can handle, and they tend to be very sales oriented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva allows easy access to permissioning within documents and folders. It also solves many of the version control issues that seem to occur in platforms like Microsoft, even when using Sharepoint.
Workiva is damn near perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and familiarity since it mimics word/excel functions
What do you dislike about the product?
Hyperlinks are a bit tricky to set up and/or destroy if needed (linked outside of SEC website). Our investor relation teams have links all over the place and wish I can just highlight them all and kill the links rather than doing it one by one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva makes is easy to create/sustain the financials each quarter/year end and file with the SEC is a breeze. XBRL functionality is great to make sure similar information remains the same.
Great Core Features, But Clunky with Large Workbooks and Add-Ons
What do you like best about the product?
it works well compared to our previous audit solution for SOX, the tickmarking and permissions for external auditors.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be somewhat clunky, especially when dealing with larger workbooks. Additional functionality is sold a la carte which would be great to have, but is rather expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining a sox platform and a financial reporting platform. Helps us stay organized and provide visibility to external parties.
Comprehensive, Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
This application performs exceptionally well thanks to its comprehensive solutions and intuitive user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across anything about Workiva that I would classify as a "dislike".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our audit teams use Workiva for Audit Management and I am the primary contact on the business side who manages resolution of these findings.
Easy for Quarterly Certifications, But Notification Timing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use for our company purpose which is a quarterly accounting certifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue we have is that when we initiate the form to people for signature, it has to be prompted a few times. It seems like it sends notifications in waterfall fashion where some people get it the next day, that seems odd unless that is intentional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a formal legal document to review any accounting exceptions that occurred. This platform does help us deliver and see the progress (where it needs to be approved next) for timing and efficiency.
Effortless Setup and Outstanding Support—A Single Source of Truth
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva has made my work much more accurate and efficient. The ease of use, fast implementation, customer success manager, and the single source of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is currently nothing I dislike about Workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva has made my work much more accurate and efficient. By having stakeholder own their data, the annual data collection process and audit of data run smoothly.
I love using Workiva.

The user interface is easy to use, it helps simplifies the overall SEC reporting process, and their customer service is amazing.

There is very little that I dislike about Workiva.

It is simplifying my audit process, my SEC reporting process, and my enterprise risk process. It removes a lot of the manual natures out of those things. It allows me to effectively work cross functionally with teams in my organization on those objectives.
