Workiva ESG Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The centralized data collection has enhanced the data entry and provided strong evidence capture.
The ability to collaborate on the report draft even while in the design process has reduced turnaround time for editing and reviews.

Must use with large or dual screens - difficult on a laptop screen.

Data quality for volunatry reporting. Consistent data across disclosures.

What do you like best about the product?
The transparency and auditability of data from source documents into final reports. Real time collaboration for improved efficiencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can be slow at times when scrolling between documents or sections within documents. A lot of different modules where some common features that are useful aren't available unless an additional solution is purchased. Would like to see fewer but more powerful modules.

The SEC reporting tool and multi user facility. It is wasy to use

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great platform for preparation of 10-K and 10-Q and filing insider information forms. Multiple users can work in it at the same time.

I would like more integration with reporting agencies for ESG

Workiva Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva does a great job of bringing different data sets together and connecting people to the tool. It enables the organization to have a single source of truth regarding controls and financial reporting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting capabilities of the tool could be improved. Sometimes there are issues with data lag when working with very large data sets. Some more complex data sets are more effectively managed via Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is bringing our internal and external auditors together along with management. We have integrated our controls and testing functionalities and enabled data sharing across groups. This helps to reduce the amount of ad hoc reporting must be done and allows for visibility on demand.
Fantastic product for accounting professionals
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is extremely user-friendly and makes the quarterly financial statement preparation process a breeze with its seamless linking process. The SEC Reporting solution is really easy to learn and implement. We also use the full service XBRL option and the Workiva XBRL team that works with us is fantastic. They are in constant communication with us and ensure that there are never any surprises come filing day, even if we have last minute changes from our end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don't have anything I dislike about Workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva makes our quarterly financial statements a breeze.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate cross functionality with colleagues internally to produce our esg report, as well as accountability through data collection and approvals.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are fairly new users, and understand there are a lot of capabilities in Workiva that we have yet to explore. One limitation is the design capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping us produce our ESG Report in a more streamlined fashion by collaborating with key internal stakeholders on drafting and review processes, while also have a one source of truth from data providers and accountability through approvers. We also like that there is clear auditing capabilities, this is helping us prepare to ESG regulations and auditing purposes.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very intuitive product and has been easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment that I have disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting ready to implement Audit Management and ERM. I anticipate that it will allow my team greater efficiencies in these areas.
Great tool for SEC reporting!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of filing, the user-friendliness of the platform, the customer service from our customer success manager and XBRL managers, and flexibility of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support tickets are sometimes placed on the back burner for an extended period of time. It seems like this is due to Workiva resources focusing more on expanding to new products, and a lack of support for existing products.

Collaborative workspace for SEC reporting, ease of filing and review processes.
