Makes my life so much easier!!
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is so intuitive and easy to learn/use. I live in WDesk - all day, day every day. We were using another tool before, and I never realized how much time we were wasting before switching to WDesk. Everything is so streamlined - features like the linking and document retention within the tool make me feel much more confident that my work is consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only improvement that I would like to see would be more "whole document" formatting - like a way to make sure all formatting throughout the sections is consistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily, our quarterly and annual reporting is documented, reviewed, and maintained in WDesk. It also allows us to collaborate with other teams through the tagging and commenting features.

The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, and makes routine filings very simplified

Some of the design features/options are somewhat limited

To my knowledge, Workiva is working to better design features, streamline the reporting process, and improve data management, which makes our experience with the reporting tools more seamless

Downsides are not having all of the same functionanility as a word document

Creating one single source workbook for all of our documents and creating a historical data set of values.

The ease of functionality; collaboration tools; tagging function and ability to review across teams.

None. The ease of integration with different ERPs is sufficient.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform’s collaborative, cloud-based environment makes it easier for teams to work on financial reports, regulatory filings, and other documents in real time, which can reduce errors and streamline workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I experience longer processing time.

Workiva has been a key factor in making our processes more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing I find about Workiva is it's ease of use. Once you learn the basics, it is straight forward and user friendly. There are also numerous features that customers get to take advantage of.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Workiva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a member of a financial reporting team, Workiva allows all users to collaborate within our financial statements and notes in one place. It cuts a lot of duplicate work and unnecessary efforts for myself and my team.
Amazing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to integrate dozens of excel reports into one Workiva file which allows for the instant transfer of information between reports and to other teams' workiva files. The team has almost entirely transferred over to Workiva for reporting and utilizes it for monthly, quarterly, and YTD reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to locate certain features is hard sometimes. The system mimics Microsoft excel but sometimes either lacks the capability or it is located somewhere else. Time to implement is sometimes a high barrier but has been a lifesaver once completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping save on the time necessary for us to close our books. As well, has allowed us to integrate review processes in at the same time. It has enabled our associates to focus on reviewing the information rather than just preparing it.
I have used Workiva in order to complete my company's SEC filings with great success.
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very user friendly and the staff members provide support, which is both excellent and timely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes exporting documents into Word has issues (e.g. alignment or page breaks or characters like a check box that don't copy over). That being said, this is not an issue when exporting to pdf or viewing the SEC formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation of Workiva with linking numbers both allows me to be consistent throughout the document and significantly reduces the chance for errors when changes or updates are made.
