There are now a lot more USA users of the platform and we are able to easily transition our clients into using the platform to it's fullest!
Ease of use and good support from both sales and technical team.

Audit trail automatically recorded and changes are recorded in real time

We went from basically using Excel to now having Workiva. This proved to add some good efficiencies along with easier reporting and knowledge for everyone to view the status. We use Workiva daily and
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Service answers your posts quickly, but it does take quite a while for any meaningful change to occur, if they do choose to take your suggestion under review. For example, 4 years ago I requested an advanced search that would allow us to search within files that are in the testing experience. This is to help comply with regulations such as the CCPA. About a year ago they implemented an advanced search that looks in files, however it doesn't look in the testing experience for some reason, and after multiple follow-ups I am told they are still looking into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
not having to do the work and track manually. Having all audits within one area is very beneficial for our team.
Could be a better platform with some developments
What do you like best about the product?
I like the controls management workspace. Where I can create different dashboards depending on the asset classes and the controls that pertain to them. There was sufficient communication between my team and the CSMs to transition from sharepoint to workiva to house all our controls. Our teams use it quite frequently to check the reports and keep our documentation updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a bit hard to learn but once you get it, it becomes easier. There are just a few bugs within the reports and processes tab. When we need something like a decommissioned controls report, it was able to be done on Workiva but we keep having to reach out to customer support to fix the glitches as there are several.

It is helping us house the controls and we're able to use the control form to what we need the platform to be

What do you like best about the product?
I like the dashboards with WDesk by Workiva and the ability to markup items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you are unable to integrate the the documents within WDesk like you can within auditboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WDesk by Workiva allowed us to be more efficient with our work because prior to it we were doing everything manually.
Our annual report dread turned to calm with Workiva's integrated data integrity
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva does a very good job of consuming all sorts of data points across our multiple internal systems. We are able to relate specific granular operating metrics and the non financials directly to our consolidated financials with which is an enormous use when it comes to investor presentation. I also love the flexibility of the system to change our core financial messages easily and fast to various audiences. A custom board report can now be created in a few minutes rather than a public announcement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The document formatting can also involve a lot of manual work even though this is not expected when a table or a chart is to be embedded which is another source. I would also like to have a more comprehensive reallocation feature of internal tasks as it is directly within a section of a report. One could improve global search by making it more granular to search a particular data points across projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making investor updates was a mad dash of exporting to individual excel sheets followed by copying and pasting numbers back into PowerPoint. Any last minute amendment in a financial figure would be a horrifying duty of digging through a number of files producing inconsistencies most times. Our investor decks are now connected with our underlying data in Workiva and there is no need of separating data. We will be able to easily refresh critical numbers one time only and watch it cascade throughout the connected slides without having to fear depicting the wrong figures in front of our audience.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Workiva very easy to use, especially when it comes to creating workspaces and customizing them to fit our company’s needs. The platform is intuitive, and setting things up feels straightforward and efficient.
I also really enjoy using Workiva AI—it’s been a helpful tool throughout our audits and has made several processes faster and easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing to note is that there are some limitations with integrations that can take extra time. However, the helpful customer support team works closely with us to address these issues, provide feedback, and make adjustments to our workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is solving the challenge of organizing and managing complex audit, risk, and compliance data by providing a centralized, customizable workspace. This allows us to keep all RCM, ERM, and audit data segregated by fiscal year in one platform, which improves our efficiency and data accessibility.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva is easy to use. It can be learned quickly if you are proficient in Excel and Word. The customer support is quick and helpful. I like the number of features in Workiva, such as WDesk Sync, Linking, and Templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Wdesk sync function carried over the Excel formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is helping streamline the Financial Reporting Process for our Company's quarterly filings.
Workiva is great
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva works really well for collaboration - shows who has made changes, requires links to be published by each user before changes are flowed through each file. I like that multiple users can edit the same document and the files update with live changes which allows for more seamless collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Workiva is so expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva makes working on financial reporting much more seamless - the transition between Excel and Workiva translates well and changes can be made fairly easy.
